I was happy with our summer dealings but thats's just ****ED UP. YOU DONT SELL YOUR BEST PLAYER TO A LEAGUE RIVAL!! It's embaressing, if we dont re-invest every penny its safe to assume we are still a ****ing 'selling club'.
****ers ! sell your top player to one of your main rivals. I hope the board are watching the game when he sticks about 4 past us. Are we that desperate for a few quid then ? tossers.
Fucking joke club. Shows you they have accepted that they are inferior and will not be challenging for any honours. I hope you gooners are happy to be paying top bill whilst the people running you are happy to accept challenging to be 3rd/4th best. Even 5pu1s deserve to finish above you this season.
The best thing about it is that the somehow faded rivalry between Arsenal and ManU may be reignited. The saddest thing for me lately was that Spurs were our main rival, not ManU. By rivalring Spuds we will get nowhere, by competing with ManU we can win a trophy. But to rival ManU we have to reinvest. In that case it may be an exciting season. I already hate them more than ever
Well it sure gives the new guys something to prove to the fans dont it. Should be an interesting season. With a bit of luck " TC " will get crocked in the first game for them and sit on the bench for half the season.
I think we all knew this was coming, I didn't want to believe it, but there it is. 24 million is a good deal, but still leaves a bitter taste, not a good day.
Im soo ****ing disappointed. It's clear they are leaving because we are a club with no ****ing ambition.
Im 90% sure we won't be spending the money on any replacements. I think Wenger and co knew this was coming and thats why they splashed so much cash on Cazorla, Podolski, and Giroud.
I would reserve my judgement until I see if the money are properly reinvested. If we use it to buy someone like Llorente then I say "Well done". If not then yes, you are right.
I felt awful mocking your mentally handicapped owners, and so decided it was best not to mention Downing and Adam
Oh we have ambition , but money is more important than ambition , clearly . Could have let him go to Juve and he would not have had ANY effect on our season , but nooooooo..... W@nkers !
It's a good deal for both sides if Arsenal reinvest the money well. But you've already got cover in the striking department (I rate Giroud quite highly) and you've got enough time and credentials to purchase 1 more. It's not as bad as us - no cover in the striking department and not enough money from Modric to reinvest properly.
I was convincing myself this wouldn't go ahead because I would never believe that Arsenal would be daft enough to allow such a move to happen unless it was for ridiculously silly money. Now watch at how that £24m is never reinvested back into the transfer market.
