As for Arsenal, very disappointed that they've sold him to Utd.

 

If we get the £25mil we wanted then I'm not that bothered as long as we reinvest it back in the team.

Hes due an injury anyhow...

I think if you get £25m and use it, it's a brilliant deal for both parties. Need to replace him with another world class player though imo.

 

It all comes down to whether we reinvest it properly.

I am not happy with Arsenal for selling him to Utd though, I think that shows a distinct lack of judgement.

 

I am very surprised he is coming to UTD, thats one deal I did not expect.

Fine! At least this saga is done, wish him the best. Now I really hope Podolski and Giroud aren't his replacements. Sell Bend and Cham that should get us 30-40mn and go out and buy a CM and a Str - lets use this as a catalyst and not an excuse.

His name for Arsenal fans has just been changed officially and he will be known by me no longer as Robin Van Persie.

From here on in he will be known as and reffered to only as " That Cunt "

 

Rooney & RVP, now that will be partnership, plus they have Kawaga, Nani & Valencia supplying.

Still, 24 million for an injury prone player on the last year of his contract is a gamble, but unless you gamble you can't get to the top.

 

Would you guys rather he went to city though? Surely since they are both about equal as rivals for the title with you, then going to united is better just because of Clichy, nasri and toure?

 

Podolski and Giroud look good, but I don't think we've got much else to offer by the way of strikers.

Of course Arsenal are renowned for goal scoring attacking midfielders too and with the addition of Cazorla, you could argue that we're stronger overall - even having sold the ungrateful ****.

Regardless of the RVP situation, I still think we need another defensive player, so I'd like to see that as a priority, but I think we'll need another striker.
