With a squad of 25 and the under 23's(?) we should win whatever team is put out. If not then they shouldn't be in the 25 in the first place, they are supposed to cope in the Premier League, no disrespect to Walsall. Yes it will be Walsall's Cup Final but we must be strong enough in depth now to overcome them.

Were you *that* bloke who was filmed in the SAR stand after we lost to some ****e side?
My mate was sat 3 rows behind him and was pissing himself.

I dont bother with the LC any more, its simply not worth the effort to get there when we try to lose on purpose.

Ha ha... No I'm someone who rages on the inside, calm on the outside. Think I was behind the same person, if not then a similar one, and he was equally deserving of a slap.... I was cool by the time I got home, and actually ranted more about the s**t kentucky meal in had in the bush!!

Im not sure yet whether i will go with my lad to the Walsall game having remembered our dire performance against Rochdale last season and Port Vale the year before where we were completely outplayed and well beaten in both games. Rushed home from work on both occassions and sat in traffic with my boy for nearly 2hours to get to LR and none of the players seemed interested and i remember saying thats the last time i go and see QPR in the League cup again. However if Mark Hughes states before hand that the players will give it a real go and puts out a relatively strong team i may change my mind.

i dont think well beat them even if we put out half of our first team. There desire to win will be far greater than ours unless the mentality in the dressing room has changed and we treat it as a must win premier league survival game. This will be there cup final and they will have 2 or 3 hundred noisey fans cheering them on. Ive seen it all before over the years which explains why we are useless over the last 10 years in all cup competions apart from one performance away at Villa a couple of seasons ago.

I seem to recall many years ago us playing some quite competitive games against Walsall - was always a tough side to beat away.
