after the first 10 games. Each season one of the newly promoted clubs starts off with a real bang and surprises every-one. I think that will be us and despite our tough start I can see us being in the top half of the table after our first 10 matches with around 15pts. Thats four wins and three draws. Achievable IMO or am I just dreaming?

I would consider it a decent start if we get results in 6/10 games (win or draw) with hopefully enough wins to be midtable. I have a feeling we will get too many draws initially.

19th/20th. The opening run is ridiculous and there's literally no way we'll be top half.

Yeah we're really going to struggle at the beginning.

Yeh sounds about right, would love to be proved wrong but everyone expecting us to be the 'surprise package' might have a surprise IMO. I'm just hoping to stay up which I think we will!

I think we can potentially beat Villa at home....but yes, it's going to look a bit ugly at the start.

16th after 10 games, and that's if things go our way.

I think we have a fairly decent chance of beating United at home. United have always started slowly in the past and with 29,000 Saints fans cheering them on I think we could give them a shock. We could get a point at Arsenal (although I do think we'll lose). I think we'll have a decent start.

    After 10 games for Southampton:

    Wins: 4
    Draws: 3
    Losses: 3

Position: 10th. As you can see, I am expecting big things from the Stripes this Season! Good Luck! <ok>

I would be content with 10 or more points after 10 games. It's going to be tough...

If we have 10 points after 10 games we've done very well and would be well on course for survival in my opinion. I think we'll be on between 5 and 8 points. Last season we were in the top two all season, this year we could be in the bottom three all season but stay up (our last 10 games look a lot better than our first 10 games, if we can be within 6 points of safety with 10 to go I fancy our chances).
