I'm on the pending list - St Helier Exiles. Hope the Exiles name continues it's success - it's the name of the cricket team I play for and we've just been promoted for the first time in the clubs history.

I want a dog, i'm not allowed to have one :(...one day i'll go and get one and then Mr H won't make me get rid of it, will he? ;)

Bike trainer is all set up...thanks Al for the deep breath and fresh eyes advice..that worked...oh, and getting a mate over to come and fix it, that worked too lol. Can't wait to get going....but it's Mr H's bike with huge wheels so i really have to stretch for the pedals! lol..ah well, it's better than nothing!

Yay for Aidy Boothroyd, beating Malky 2-1...when Jordan Mutch had to go and change his ribbons..perfect! Okay, that sounds bitter, bad ol' me...;)

Time for bed, i'm going for a jogette in the morning...a friend of mine and i are considering attacking the marathon in 2014...uh oh..i know where these idle thoughts of mine take me!

    Night night all :)

Hi there, Red - I expect you're feeling a bit green around the GILLs this morning? ;)

Don't worry, you're in good company - Cardiff, Derby, Millwall, Brighton <rofl> <rofl>

I'll have to practise some fence-sitting for tonight's International - Scotland vs Australia. ;)

Don't really know what standard to expect from the game - Scotland with a Div 3 player in their ranks and Australia with a 33 year-old Papua New Guinean Kiwi in theirs. :(

    I can go home. Húrra.

I was told Heiðar has joined Jordan Mutch as the latest of Malkay Mackay's signings. Will he start signing more player without a link to the Hornets soon. I know our players are good but even the Cardiff City supporters must be wondering what he is.

The marathon<yikes> now that is a serious commitment to undertake H! Good luck with that;) Like wow!

I keep threatening the other half that I will come back with a kitten<devil> When we were living in Corby, I got home first and waited in the front room for her return, I told her to close her eyes as I had a surprise for her, in a box and she was not to make too much noise otherwise the surprise would get frightened, she entered the room and saw a 2ft square box sitting there! I said "I know you said not to but this was so cute I could not resist it" I said I have bought a cat, she looked furious I said open the box and just have a look and then decide whether I have made the right decision. She opened the box and peeked inside and saw a cat but it was made of metal and was in fact a garden ornament<laugh> It's head and tail are on springs and stands about the same size as a real cat, we also have a dog about the same type and size!!!! The look in her face said it all<laugh>

I just wonder what she will do if I bring home a real pet:confused: Would I get away with it?

No to a dog and no to a cat - time to be creative and try for something in between.

    Get her a ferret. ;)

The last round of fixtures is scheduled for early August so that any matches can be rearranged if necessary but all matches in midweek and weekend leagues have to be completed before the end of season inter-insular match against Guernsey.

There's a shop not far from Buckie that has one of those giant indoor rabbits - an odd looking blue colour, staff take it for walks around the store on a leash. A bit of a shock when you first see it - its ears are about the size of our cat. <yikes>
