Did not get to see Utd vs City as I was too busy on space mountain and the rock n rola rides with my friends. Anyways it was a bad result but it is good Arsenal dropped points. If we win today I fancy Spurs to beat Arsenal and give us a 9 point gap if we beat Newcastle (which will be very hard). If we have a 9 point gap, then we have a good chance to win the league.

We Must move on from that City loss. We have a fantastic chance to win the league. As for the CL? That is near impossible but you never know in football

    Come on Utd

If we do win it, that would be an amazing achievement and brilliant but that is a distant dream at the moment. The league is more likely and number 19 would be a massive achievement. A lot of our fans were getting ahead of themselves about the treble. Our squad is not good enough to win multiple trophies but winning the league would be special.

I Agree that the treble was never going to happen, but i thought that that was due to how hard it is to win the champions league and that a domestic double was a reasonable target given that we had already knocked out the country's second best team in Arsenal. It is unfair to say that the squad is without the ability to win more than one trophy even if it will be difficult now.

To beat Man City after the number of big games we have played will have been very hard. The league is our priority not the CL. We should focus on the league and always play our 11 in the league and rest players in the CL as lets be honest we need a miracle to beat Barca or Real and getting to the final itself will be very hard as schalke are a very good team in the CL.

Yes I just read it now.

Hernandez is scoring goals and yes that is the job of the striker but his all round game is poor. Can you out a good argument against this? I have heard few rumors that Dimi Berba could be off and the likes of Welbeck and Kiko could take his place. I am not sure if that is a good idea as in certain games Hernandez has looked very poor. If Berbs leaves we will have to go out and sign a 15-20m striker. Having just Rooney as our only recognizable top striker is worrying.

Hernandez has got great instinct around the box and movement which most top class strikers get in their late 20s but his dribbling and touch are no better than a average players. A lot of work is needed on him. Maybe 2 or 3 seasons at Utd will improve him vastly and as he is still young I believe he will be a top player as he has the instincts but needs polishing. However, in this time he needs to be below Berbatov and Rooney. If we sell Dimi and replace him with Welbeck we will be weakening massively. Hernandez is not yet ready. Also I am not to sure on whether Kiko and Welbeck are good enough.

Having Dimi, Hernandez, Welbeck, Rooney as our main 4 strikers is much better than Kiko, Welbeck, Hernandez, Rooney

The only way I can see us selling Berba is if we go 433 and sign a top class midfielder in Berbs place and give Nani and Valencia a much bigger forward role. But if we want to play 442 then we need 2 top class already peaked strikers.

So one moment Hernandez is a striker doing a strikers job of scoring and then Rooney is our only recognisable striker if Berbatov leaves. Make up your mind.

Hernandez is an out and out goalscorer. He has bags of pace and plays right on the line. He has great movement and has an almost 6th sense of knowing where the ball will fall in the penalty box. That is a gift. Watch the video below and observe his so called poor touch.

I don't care about dribbling. He's a bloody goalscorer for goodness sake! <doh> Very few strikers have great dribbling qualities. Rush didn't, Lineker didn't, Shearer didn't, Cole didn't, RVN didn't etc.

Try and learn about football. Not every forward tries to showboat like Nani. Most just attempt to score and defeat their opponent. Oh and don't say in future he's worse than Bent.

But the thing you don't understand is, if we sell Berba that leaves Hernandez and Rooney and then who? Kiko? Welbeck? We are severely weakening. Unless we are rebuilding and ready to accept 2 or 3 seasons trophy less. That forward line is very poor, if we sell Berba we should sign rossi as he has proven himself and is a class player and we have a buy back clause.

So if Berbatov leaves which are weak rumours only (and by the way life goes on) you do admit now we have 2 strikers in Hernandez and Rooney? Wellbeck will come back and who knows what SAF has planned. Hernandez is a class goalscorer who will vastly improve. He could become an Utd legend in time so stop with the he can't dribble crap. He has more skill in his tiny finger than you or I will ever have so get over it.

He can't dribble though? I am only stating what everyone knows. He is a good goal scorer but that is not enough.

I like Hernandez and believe he can progress much more but it would be better to keep Berba than sell him. Having 3 strikers who can score many goals is better than having Kiko who can barley score in Italy and Welbeck. If we sell Berba which seems likely with Bayern rumors and no new deal then we should sign another top striker and Rossi would fit the bill as his overall game is class. Good goal scorer, can dribble and very good finisher.

Have you ever heard of Rush, Lineker, Cole, Shearer, RVN, Wright, McCoist, Van Basten, etc. They were top goal scorers and they were not known for dribbling. You do not need to be a skilful dribbler to be a quality striker. Do you know anything about football? By the way if a striker has only good goal scoring in his repertoire then he's good enough for me!
