Few reasons, could be sold....missed pre season because of the Olympics so hasn't had a chance to play with the newbies or take on Laudrup's new tactics (he wants the wingers to play differently).....Routledge was knocking on the door anyway and played better than him against Stuttgart. So, the debate begins about 4-4-2 vs the lone striker options. The first team sheet will tell us a lot about our season and MH's ambitions. Personally I always want to see 2 up front but some seriously good midfield talent will need to be left out to make that happen. Maybe 4-3-3 is the answer...
