What is Pompey's Fate?

  1. Fold before the Week-End

  2. Start the season but not finish it

  3. Survive but get relegated this season

  4. Survive and stay up

With the latest twist in the Pompey saga that has seen script writers for Coronation Street and EastEnders look on in envy, what do you think will happen to Pompey now?

    Fold now?

    Fold Later?

    Be saved?

If we survive, another trip to the cellar would be bearable.

I think we will survive - but league 2 definitely beckons.

Birch's role is to secure the best deal for the creditors - liquidation is not the best deal.

So Lampitt, as CEO of the Supporters Direct, will have no choice but to withdraw his "football creditor" claim for funds from the PST.

A lot of the former players, including Kanu, pledged £1k - which of course brings them into the ownership equasion - wonder how many will renegotiate their claims now.

Maybe the time has come for Harry Redcrap to piece together a consortium from his rich football family of friends and relatives, so that he can save the club that is his 'spiritual home'<whistle>

It might actually be a good idea for some of the former players put their hands in their pockets. They were more than happy to get more than deserved and any donations now would at least help.

Quite agree - but could you imagine Sol Campbell doing that? Nah, me neither.

Survive and finish 20th. I'm not entirely sure how.

    P.S. 4 relegation slots in League 1 :(
