I may be a lone voice on here but I'd say, until we can replace him, Betty is a useful member of our squad. I think he's got more to offer than we saw in his limited appearances last season.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Arsenal got rid of him in 2000 when he would have been 18, so you seem to be assuming that teenagers never improve either their attitude or ability. And, of course, Arsene is never wrong in assessing players, is he? As for Cardiff, I recall they made considerable efforts to keep him and are rumoured to be after him at the moment. If you were to say that Bothroyd hasn't performed up to expectations at the moment, I couldn't disagree but quoting his career at those two clubs is hardly a compelling argument is it?
