Well the season is about to start so I think it's about time everyone submitted their end of season table! I would wait till the transfer window shut but then we'd of seen some teams play and that's sort of cheating. I'll bookmark this thread (or we could sticky it) and we can see who got the closest at the end of the season, (we'll need something to talk about in the next pre season).

    1)United
    2)City
    3)Chelsea

    4)Arsenal

    5)Spurs
    6)Everton
    7)Newcastle
    8)Liverpool
    9)Fulham

    10)Aston Villa
    11)Sunderland
    12)QPR

    13)West Ham
    14)Stoke
    15)West Brom

    16)Saints
    17)Swansea
    18)Norwich

    19)Wigan
    20)Reading

I've spaced out where I think the bigger gaps in the table will be with team sort of creating their own mini league (or in arsenals case having a nice time in 4th)

Great to hear other posters opinions? (if you can't be bothered to do the full table just do the top 6ish and bottom 3ish.)

Right, I'm bored enough to do a full table.

    1) Man Utd
    2) Man City
    3) Chelsea
    4) Arsenal
    5) Newcastle
    6) Liverpool
    7) Tottenham
    8) Everton
    9) Fulham
    10) West Ham
    11) Norwich
    12) Sunderland

    17) Stoke
    ------------------
    18) Wigan
    19) Aston Villa
    20) Swansea

I don't really think there'll be any "mini leagues" as you put it, especially not in the bottom half.

Fair enough I just think they'll be the biggest point differences I spose.

Interesting you think Villa will go down, good youth squad, good striker, good manager and a decent size fan base I reckon they'll up comfortably surely?

I have a gut feeling about that one. They were very poor last season and finished 16th in the end. They have a good manager now, but no cash to spend on players it seems. I don't see much togetherness in the squad and I expected a lot more from the young players. They were supposed to deliver last season and they didn't.

Surprised at the many pundits putting Reading down near the bottom. We saw their capability to aborb us at St Mary's back in April. I reckon they will be able to do this to a good many Premiiership teams as well when playing away. Besides which they have considerable pace which is always an asset.

Lets be bold and go for The Chavs and Arsenal to battle it out for the Premiership. It would make a lovely change for Manchester United to be off the pace. Going down. Choose any 3 from 12. I said many moons ago on another thread we could be a yoyo-club like WBA although it is not in our genetic make-up. But then again neither were too many promotions until recently. So yes, we might finish in the bottom three and come bouncing back again with a stronger squad. Just my thoughts and I know many will disagree so I am prepared to be taken to task.

My serious thoughts (I'm not doing a full table, **** that) - City to probably win the title with Utd and Chelsea in close competiton. Arsenal take 4th quite comfortably. At the bottom, well, pick 3 from Swansea, Norwich, Reading, West Brom, Wigan and us as major contenders, with West Ham, Stoke, QPR as a bit less likely, then pretty much everyone outside the top 7/8 as still pretty likely.

Sunderland bore me rigid and i would like them to go down, their manager maybe just too good for that to happen (bring back steve bruce)

the top 8 will probably be made up from man city, man utd, arsenal, chelsea, spurs, liverpool, everton and newcastle

the remaining 12 clubs could finish in any order from 9 to 20 - so hard to call, much down to luck and lack of injuries
    bottom 3 prediction.
    18. Norwich - like Norwich, think they will get too many draws this year but this could easily read stoke, westbrom, wigan,QPR etc
19.West Ham - more out of dislike to them
    20. Swansea - great season last year - Laudrup a bit of an unknown
