Was Chelsea overcoming the best club side in the world with ten men, no CBs, in the Nou Camp from 2-0 down, the greatest performance by a London club in Europe?.
I can't think of any other European performance by a London club in Europe getting close. Maybe Spurs in the 60s??
It showed just how determined and passionate a team Chelsea are, we won the Champions league with pure belief and determination, never giving up... A shame we weren't the same against City It was an amazing victory, every game from Napoli onwards was of Epic proportions!
It's funny how many people seem to forget that we actually scored 3 v Barca in the tie. You'ld think it was 0-0 and we won by the toss of a coin listening to some of the sad bastards on here.
At 2-0 down with 10 men we were 999/1 to draw the game 2-2. Those odds are unheard of and speak volumes about what an achievement it was? I don't think it will ever be repeated, not against this current Barca side anyway
Just an opinion. 2 down v the best ever club side with 10 men, no captain and no CBs is not to be sniffed at
Yeah I agree it isn't. I actually wanted you to win as it was agianst the Germans. I'd read an article the day or so before by Sebastian Pigsteiner which really got me - so I took pleasure in him losing against English opposition as a result. Arrogant bastard ate some humble pie.
