Sky TV in general, it's very Americanised.

Sky News, for example, it hurts my eyes watching.

I just feel it needs to exercise a little more English restraint, and ease up on the trashy, tackiness it seems to revel in.

Just my personal tastes I s'pose.

Wonder if there's an Ipswich equivalent of TWF bemoaning Bullard's exit from the club?

Probably not, it's different circumstances. He's agreed to terminate his contract for footballing reasons.

Here, he was kicked out by an egotistical maniac of a 'Director of Football Operations' who was seemingly determined to destroy the club from the inside. I've no doubt he'd have thrived under Bruce if he'd managed to hang on, but unfortunately he was at the club when trouble causers were rewarded with coaching contracts and our better players were ostracised for being better than them.

Not being in the team because you got suspended for going out on the piss and missing training is hardly a footballing reason, it's just another example of a very high paid employee taking the piss out of his employers.

I don't watch Sky News but you cannot deny that Sky has some excellent programmes that boot the arse out of some of the rhubarb on terrestrial television.

Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire are the best two programmes on the box.

    IMO.

So, in your head, Jimmy Bullard was kicked out for being too good?

Also can't deny that Soccer Saturday is better than Final Score, although I do prefer the Beeb's F1 coverage.

You need not fear for me - I was merely alluding to his Holy Trinity: Duffen/Brown/Bullard......TWF for TWF. <ok>

I like Sky. Good TV. Good internet. Good Phone charges. Its all good quality, and compared to the rest, no more expensive, in fact cheaper than BT, which is **** anyhow.

Given the choice I would not pay the BBC License Fee, never being able to watch BBC would not affect me one little bit.

You also forgot the Football League Show, where else are you going to go and find footage of Bruce and Koren getting off a coach every second week?

Unless you live in the Hull Telephones region of course? Still can't believe the local scandal has never been elevated?

There is more quality on the BBC in one month than there is in a whole year on Sky.
