I'm feeling lethargic guys, but it isn't pre-season games that are doing it. I'm very confident with the players we have and I'm pretty assured Hughton is trying to add more before the window closes.

I can see it coming though, like a ton of bricks. If we have a couple of hard games at the start of this season a certain section of the crowd will turn on the players, the board and, especially, Chris Hughton. The pieces are all set up, people are ready to say "I told you so!!!" and if you thought the Morison bashing was bad last year, I predict more. A lot more.

It's just a pain in the arse to me because literally All I care about is seeing these players plahy football because I know they can do well. I hate all the bullshit that surrounds it.

    Goddam I hate pre-season, **** pre-season.

If he plays well then they'll leave him alone.

If we play badly then they will turn, that happens everywhere.

Hughton has to prove he's up to it and can change the team to his way, if it goes belly up he'll be out the door.

No amount of positivity or negativity (on here) will change that

I hate the crushing inevitability that the targets have been selected (Morison, Ward, Whittaker(Bizzarely...)) and we're all ready to go with the bashing. Why does there need to be a pre-conceived road-map? It just depresses me, I believe we'll be okay and whatever happens at Fulham certainly doesn't dictate our season or even the next game.

We shouldn't get on any of our players backs - we should support them and remember what they've given us over the last few years - an unbelievable ride...had my reservations about morisson when we got him but he proved me wrong in the early part of the season. He had a few off months, not helped by certains sections of support - Getting on players backs isn't the way - never has been, never will...

I think the worry is entirely down to the lack of preseason goals - but if it isnt working ive got faith hughton will sort it - this tighter defense is something I'm excited about...

no, precisely because of what beefy is saying. i do also find it preposterous that if someone says something which i disagree with i get jumped on for not allowing people to have an opinion, yet if i disagree with what people say its because i don't allow people to have an opinion!!

yeah, that makes a lot of sense!! <doh>

complete double standards and there are now too many people on here who lack basic knowledge of the game... i shall write the odd article and do the predictor but i'm not getting involved in all this **** anymore. its become a difficult place to post <ok>

I don't even disagree with a lot of that, I just don't understand what is so wrong with this thread? In fact I thought it wasn't too bad debate, some people like Morison some people dont. Just opinions

posters on this site are always slamming the pink un site for their attitudes and then display exactly the same traits themselves. yes, there are some first class idiots there, especially a delia hating, chase loving person, but then there are just as bad idiots on this site.

The people on the pinkun have the right to an opinion of course but I feel a responsibility to share the hilarious opinions with you all. They can't help but prove my point as well. Here's a little brucie bonus for you, posted late yesterday...

Moaning I can tolerate, and I'm not a guy that's happy with everything all the time etc, but PRE-moaning... The preparation of moaning and the just plain prejudice annoys me. The effort involved in thinking up excuses to moan IN THE FUTURE is a staggering human trait. I believe a big part of supporting a team is getting behind them and motivating them. They don't need a kick up the arse yet. If we lose the first 4 games then yeah, by all means.

Fair enough, I agree the Pinkun is extremely negative, and probably don't have much of a clue. The one quote I agreed on was the Morison one. I would say I am more positive going into season than negative but just worried a bit by defence.

Again though some of the pinkun lot are muppets.

Oh for goodness sake Pyjamas, grow up a bit. You state your opinion, you didn't seem to mind attempting to put the boot into me at times when there was a groundswell of support for your views.

That was OK, now its a bit different, people aren't just nodding in agreement with what you say.

I actually quite respected alot of the stuff you put on here (which wasn't about Norwich), now after what you've just said is reinforcing what I posted to you previously before you disappeared for a few days.

You don't want debate, you just want people to agree with you. Now it appears this forum is no longer of any real interest to you.

I think thats pretty poor, you don't get anywhere near the abuse I've had on here (not that it bothers me because I'm used to it).

"People who lack basic knowledge of the game" see thats the thing with you Pyjamas you think if they disagree with you they lack that knowledge, thats pretty disrespectful to the others/myself on here.

I don't want to demonise you Pyjamas but I do think you need to realise that what you say isn't the gospel and people can make up there own minds, certainly try and influence.

This is far from a difficult place to post Pyjamas. If you want 100% agreement go and discuss tactics to one of the Churchill dogs in the back of someones car (give him a prod first and see the magic unfold)

I just want to say one more thing now, even if Norwich win the next 4 games it doesn't change the situation now, those doubts are there, and have a right to be there, just as the optimistic arguments have a right if we lose our next 4, because there are obviously reasons to be optimistic.

Oh my Beefy, you really have hit the nail right on the head with that paragraph. I defy ANYBODY not to agree with all of that.

For the record, this is not me 'backslapping' anybody, its just I have to totally agree with it, so I feel like posting it.

When does "pre-moaning" become "moaning" and thus acceptable in a modern society?

Personally not looking into the pre season results, don't really know how we will do this year until it kicks off, one thing I am worried about is defensively. I am just not convinced altogether are defence has improved. I don't know if that's what Beef and you mean as pre moaning, but to me that's just a pre judgement. It's exactly the same as saying midfield has improved (which I think it has). I realise it's probably more to do with the Pinkun posters anyway.

'Pre-moaning', is moaning about something that hasn't even happened yet - this is just totally bonkers.
