What did you make of Rangers' performance tonight?

For me, we couldn't string more than a couple or three passes together BUT the defence (with the exception of Orr getting caught wrong footed leading to Ward's cross) from Kenny to Faulin appeared pretty much back to their composed best.

Shaun Derry was again the complete article. Did he put a foot wrong? (And Routledge found some passion in the Savage fracas!)

Brilliant and unexpected outside right footed shot from Adel but that was about it from him. Savage (effective tonight) had Taarabt all worked out. Interesting that AT took time to shake his hand before the tantrum...

Then the inevitable blank-firing Agyemang and Hulse sideshow. Had to laugh when Hulse was shaking hands with his former mates at the end. Kind of, 'look at how well I'm doing now... !!

It was frustrating, needed to take one of those chances when we had our good spell in the 1st half.
    Anther point though eh!

And I like Robbie Savage, what a character, "hard to play with 12stone in your pocket!"<laugh>

Not a bad result obviously we would have liked to win but a point is better than nothing.

Can't agree about Derry. I thought he was woeful tonight. The entire midfield and forwards with the exception of Smith were truly awful. Ive only seen Faurlin take one decent free kick the entire season. This is an area we really need to work on. To be fair it is difficult to play against such a negative team. It had echoes of the Forest game about it. That still doesn't excuse highly paid Pro's not being able to pass a ball five yards. Routledge was shockingly poor. I can't remember him playing as bad for us.

VERY disappointed with tonights performance but in fairness to this team it may well bounce back on Sat and beat Cardiff. What we lack in skill we make up for in character. Great save from Kenny and generally solid at the back is the positive to take. A good performance at the Bluebirds now required. C'mon boys, don't **** it up now!!

Yet another clean sheet (24 out of 42) was the basic reassurance I needed to see.

We'll need to off load some redundant forwards in pre-season though.

Have to agree about Ali's free kicks - and shooting in general. I think he knows it hence his finger slapping celebration after his goal against the Blades. He looked well shocked it went in!

Let's face it, Derby were only ever going to play to stop us tonight and if anything we helped them succeed. Lost count of the misdirected passes and goal attempts...

Liked your, 'what we lack in skill we make up for in character' observation. Comfortingly appropriate imo!

Swords Hoopster. You seem to be negative against most of the team every time you make a comment
The team are struggling for some form at the moment but they have still picked up 4 points from 2 games
If you supported Barcelona I think you would slag off their midfield players

Derry Woefull he made alot of important tackles....Faurlin take one decent free kick....sorry was that in the one and only game you have seen this season. Smith Huff's and Puff's without really ever doing much. 1 goal in 11 games....EVEN HULSE HAS THAT RECORD.

just one of those nights derby came for result & got it, savage again handled tarbs well, personally i would have taken tarbs off at ht & brought buz on to be bit more creative & infact do the same on sat instead play buz from start, but its another point & would love to finish the job at cardiff.

Steady there Qpranger, towards the end you were in danger of actually making a constructive point. Derry didn't make a single pass all night just like practically the entire team. You seem to be blinded by you're passion mate which isn't all bad I suppose but blinded none the less. If anyone was happy with that performance last night they must've been watching it from their room in Broadmoor. Do you seriously think Warnock was happy with that?

Qpranger, are you Ray Wilkins in disguise???

    Pro's

    1 more point
Another clean sheet - i think that makes 24, (that seriously very good)
No one got sent off or injured
Should have easily been at least one up by half time

    Cons
Given the lack of space to pass or play our game we seemed to struggle with a plan B
    Not enough shooting
Savage getting the better of Adel (if only that nutmeg had gone through his legs...)
    Personally i just don't get Agyemang - he's rubbish.
Smith - I was dissapointed with his contribution.
Helgusson unfortunately being 2 inches shorter that he needed to be.

Overal think Derby closed us down well and gave us virtually no space to play in, they came not to lose and you can sort of understand why, playing the league leaders at home - they would of well settled for a point before the start and largely played that way. Didin't think the ref and lino's covered themself in glory either there was i think 3 clear Qpr corners given as goal kicks, and some blatant fouls ignored.

Bloody hell, lighten up. We are 9 points clear, NINE, of third place. How angry were you when we got beat by Yeovil, Southend, Vauxhall bloody Motors etc etc.

    Good one Rollercoaster!! :smile::smile:

I don't understand why this Qpranger bloke keeps throwing tantrums at whatever I say. He's just slated practically the entire team, pretty much the same as I did. Maybe I'm missing something but does that not mean we agree????????

Go and practice some Yoga or sumat mate, these outbursts can't be good for your ticker. :emoticon-0107-sweat

Savage should have been sent off for a tackle on Taarabt
