Only an utter moron would say an off the ground two footed challenge isn't a red.

Correct though I will say he didnt dive in with feet up he slid with feet up, it is a difference but should not be interpreted as suich cos it leaves the door open for inconsistency, this rule should always be automatically punished like removing your shirt ect ect, if the player knows the story and still takes the chance he alone is to blame.

Di Matteo again when he tries to get his team to play football, fails, he better go back to packing the box with 200m worth of 10 defenders and hope for the luck of the irish <laugh> He employed no tactics in the CL semi and final, the team fell back cos they could not hold the ball so not one jot of credit, he's clueless

His foot caught him half way up his leg. Was over the top and could have been dangerous had the leg been planted in the ground.

Can see why it was given a red card, however I think you could also argue why it was only worth a yellow.

Another one of those that isn't a clear red or a clear yellow but some type of orangey card?

I just think it was a red card offence, other peoples opinions may differ.
