    What to believe !

    from @Capt_Fishpaste Michael Graham twitter
Reassuring from O'Neill. There will be 'more [signings] than people expect'. #SAFC

    And....

    from @Capt_Fishpaste Michael Graham twitter
O'Neill has also said Sessegnon has had agents in his ear all summer trying to turn his head, but he is confident we can keep him. #SAFC

Sounds like a few are in motion, I could imagine we're well into negotiations with Fletch, Guidetti, Dann, N'zonzi and Olsson (Hadn't cottoned on that we're after a quarter of the black pool side.

Phillips looks unlikely now, apparently everton are leading the chase for Johnson, I just can't see Defoe coming and the Llorente/Doumbi rumours have gone well off the boil.

That's a direct quote from O'Neil though so if true good news. Can't see us getting 7 in at this stage but I hope you're right!

I think we were all pretty aware that Doumbia & Llorente weren't on the cards mind!

I'm honestly thinking we'll have Fletch & Olsson in by Thursday, Guidietti shouldn't be a difficult deal to get finalized, and the difference it would make to have those 3 would be immense.

I fully expected to see both of them playing for Sunderland next year. I heard from an ITK that Messi wants to leave Barca as he's bored of scoring goals and wants to play goalie to concede some instead, we're offering them Elmo in return.

currently sat at work awaiting my appraisal - time to kill...had a look at the Sky Sports "rumour section" so - to add to the sum of knowledge (with apologies for this being a repetition of anything others have posted)

    1. Fletcher to have medical tomorrow...
    2. Scott Dann driving out of the AOL
    3. Johnson to go to Liverpool
    4. James Milner to us by the end of the week
    5. Villa to get Guidetti
    6. McGeedy coming to us
    7. Defoe to Fulham

got a bit bored after that...

We want Pedro & Dani Alves too.

Elmo is so good, he looks average.

    That is a skill.

I heard he changed his name to Peter in preparation for his big move. Big Chris told me though so who knows.

I'm really ****ed off with Elmo, he showed so much promise during his loan spell (never seen a winger win so much in the air and the way he took men on wasn't dissimilar to Mac) and has played well for Egypt as well. I was at the SOL when we played Arsenal and Ferdinand fannied around, booted the ball into Cesc before it flew 35 yards into the net, he looked such a threat. What's gone wrong!

I'm not against us playing him RB in Bardo's absence, he plays there for Egypt, and Egypt are a pretty tidy team.

He does have pace, and this could free some space for Seb, who doesn't.

Had a belter there for them against England 2-3 years ago. Looked world class.

Gotta be worth a punt, one thing I credit the lad for is his desire to do well for the club.

He could maybe develop, but certainly he's not good enough to play in midfield, RB you have a bit more protection, and pace reduces the risk of gaps in behind.

    Deffo an option.

And he can't be much worse than O'Shea as a full back (really rate him at centre half)
