Better than welbeck, of course he is. For now <ok>

Welbecks and out and out striker by all intensive purposes. He can play in other positions but hes more a striker than anything else.

Because nobody ever has the ability to actually say a United player is good hence the ABU stance taken by United.

Everyone elses players are better than ours yet 9 times out of ten its our players who are successful long term.

I mean please explain how in any way Aguero is better, like what does he do better. There will be some things but in all the striker areas, Rooney is better.

We're talking about currently UIR who's got the better striker's, you think Rooney is better than Aguero but surely can't think there's massive gulf in difference between the two, Dzeko/Balo are better than Hernandez ergo Citeh's strikers are better than United's <ok>

Incorrect, I personally think Vidic is the best defender in the league along with Kompany. I think Jones and Smalling will become quality, I think Valencia is the best right winger in the league along with Nani, Rooney is one of the best players in the league aswell (note I said one of). Fergie buys players to suit his systems which is why you are so successful always up there. I guarantee if someone like Benitez had your squad they would finish nowhere near City.

There isnt a massive difference but Rooney is better. Hes more than proved it aswell.

Anyway, why not make the topic on the United board. Sure most United fans will say rooney but ABU's from far and wide will appear. Its easy to select those whos opinions are not those of morons like baz and co <ok>

    Rooney
    Aguero
    Balotelli/Tevez
    Welbeck
    Hernandez

And thats being harsh on Hernandez but hes so 1 dimensional.

It'll look like I'm wumming if I do it, you make one saying who has the better strikers.

    my list would be:

    Aguero
    Rooney
    Tevez
    Balotelli
    Dzeko
    Welbeck
    Hernandez

You are not an ABU, you can and do have a few tendencies.

Rooney is a truly amazing football, **** of a man but on a football level there are few better players in the world.

In his last 2 seasons he hasnt even been that brilliant yet hes still done it for United. The sign of genuine quality is how they perform when their chips are down.

You will find most footballers rate rooney above aguero aswell, including Agueros Argentinian friend Lionel who ranks Rooney as one of the best in the world.

    Was a while back mind.

and no, i wont be supplying links <ok>

Forgot dzeko existed but if hes added then Berbatov ( forget hes barely played ) is better than him.

It wont look like wumming, if I do it then the morons will descend and try derail the thread. Your fairly well respected and quite welcome on our board <ok>

He is one of the best in the world, but I also believe Aguero is too. Aguero is also only 24 and the next two years are crucial for him and by 26 I believe he could be a lot better than Rooney was. I mean, look how he just performed last season with the weight of the price tag and years of pressure to move to another club in his first season on the biggest stage in the world? Pretty ****ing good!

True, in that case I'd stick Berba above Balotelli.

    Fair point....

Rooney cost £25.6million at 18...... I presume he had quite a bit of weight on his shoulders to live up to the hype, which he has done.

I dont know why Arsenal have not asked for Berbatov in a swap deal, he would suit them brilliantly and they could give spurs the V sign over it anwyay ha <ok>

Like the way you are talking up RVP now he looks like he could go to United!! And there was you saying earlier that Tevez looked good as the big fish in the small pond. You're such a hypocite you could coach Fergie...and that's going some.

It's all opinions but I would take Aguero and Tevez over Rooney. Rooney is a quality player but I think the other 2 have the edge.

Tevez has an ability second to none in the P.L (especially post Drogba) of lifting a side just with his application and spirit. That's not something that can be tangibly measured with stats but it's noticeable to anyone who really knows the game. For my money, City would not have won the league had he not returned and would have won it by more points had he played all season.

Aguero is a young man coming into a foreign league and was amazing last year with goals, assists and moments of magic. I'd bet top dollar that if Rooney had gone to Spain his impact would have been far less that Kun's in the P.L last year.

Rooney would clear up in Spain. No doubt about it what so ever. Only the 2 machines would outscore him <ok> opinion of course dear :)

Tevez changes games does he, right..... scored 5 in a season once at United and cried that he wasnt getting played enough. Probably should of done more on the pitch than just run round like a ****ing moron shouldnt he?

Rooney changes games aswell, much more often, much much much more often.

Also, had United had messi we would of bla bla bla...........tevez wasnt there, because hes an unreliable ****, as I stated.

10million in cash and berbatov the other way. The perfect deal for arsenal. Spend the 8million on Isco.

Wenger would be hailed a genius.

Can't see Rooney being the sort of player that could play abroad and it's somewhat indicative that he's never been seriously linked with the Real Madrids and Barcas of this world (especially given United are practically Real's feeder club!!).

I doubt the Spanish really see him as world class; especially when they see him for England. Real would certainly take Aguero if not Tevez as well over Rooney.

Bottom line, you will need RVP just to be even remotely comparable to City in the forwards department. Dzeko is also a much better player than he gets credit for but barely plays. A bit like Tevez at United and looked what happened when he moved and got games. One of Fergies biggest mistakes.
