Mate, I know what you are saying, but if these guys don't realise they are up for a battle every week, then all the ability in the world wont help them. I was part of a team of Govan lads who skelped Man United u-19's 5-0, purely because we fought for every ball like our life depended on it. They clearly couldn't be arsed with a battle against lads who were significantly poorer football players. Rangers should beat these teams every week on paper, but on grass it's always a different kettle of fish.
I don't doubt we'll win it. Many of the teams we'll beat at a canter. It was just a shaky start against the team who is most likely to be competing with us for the title. It was exciting though. Feels like it's been forever since I was jumping up and down and shouting at the radio. Perhaps I should have pulled the car over.
I never usually watch the games, but I watched that full game because it was like an old fashioned scrap of a game. A good one to watch for a neutral
Hugh Keevins prediction (that The Rangers will not drop a solitary point on their stroll to the SFL3 title) gone for a burton.
Proves my point. We like to sing about our taigy fenian bastard brethren and sistren ( - is that wa word?)
http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/2888918/ RANGERS Football Club are at the centre of a police investigation this morning after supporters caused trouble during the team’s Division Three debut at Peterhead. Officers are appealing for information after several smoke flares were set off at Balmoor Stadium on Saturday. The Glasgow giant’s fans also sang sectarian songs, leading to one arrest last night. However, the trouble did not cast a shadow over what was arguably the greatest result in the Buchan club’s history. Naught naughty.
