Okay all itâs time to decide! As it stands now, who do think will be Champions and relegation candidates? Champions Manchester United They will want that trophy back. Will be between them and City Relegation Swansea Losing BR is a huge loss and style of play will change. Losing Allen is also a factor. Norwich Losing PL was key for them and without his presence in the dress room I see a SSS. Reading Sorry Royals but simply not good enough. Too many Championship players and not enough money spent on quality. I would also say that Saints, West Ham, WBA, Wigan will also struggle but for me will survive.
Champions - Man Utd - They should have won it last year if it wasnt for that capitualtion at Everton and us mucking up in the last couple of mins when we knew we were safe against City. Man Utd have added well to their squad with the Japanese guy from Germany who is quality and it looks like they will get RVP as well. In contrast City have not strenghened and only purchased Jack Rodwell. Relegation Swansea - Lost their manager and a couple of their better players. Have bought some good players in apparently but they make take time to settle and unless Laudrup is a fantastic manager (I have my doubts) I can see Swansea really struggling. West Ham - Hoof ball Alladyce and his crap style of playing deserve to go down. They still have Championship players and will struggle I am sure. Norwich / Southampton - One of these I think will join them. Norwich have lost their good manager and havent really strengthened their squad enough and I think after two successive promotions Southampton will struggle but I thought that of Norwich last season so you never know.
Man Chity to win Southampton, Reading and Swansea down but agreed scrap at the bottom with the team mentioned above. To combine two topics, QPR finish 12th, though on that list of "experts" the team above us do not look that good either so who knows..
Much as I would love the title to go to a non-Manchester club, I can't really see past the two filling the top two places again. It'll come down to who performs best in the derby games, and on that level, I'll go for City again. Of the others, I reckon that arsenal will have a more consistent season this year and will again finish in third, whilst it'll be the same old clubs battling for fourth and the Europa League spots. Relegation? Swansea will struggle, because they have lost too much and haven't replaced with anywhere near enough quality. Wigan will also struggle again, and if Moses goes to Stamford Bridge, I doubt if even Al-Habsi can keep them up. And Reading will complete the trio for me, as there's not been enough investment yet from the new owners to sustain a reasonable challenge, and they will be relying on luck to survive. Southampton, Norwich, Villa, WBA and West Ham will also feature at the bottom end of the table, but will probably get by.
Champions - QPR best fooking team in the multiverse Relegation - Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City. you heard it here first.
Citeh to win Can only really see 3 from - Wigan, Norwich, Swansea, Southampton, Reading, West Ham taking the fall.
1 - Citeh 2 - MU 3 - Toon 4 - Gooners 5 - Spuds 6 - Chelski 7 - QPR 8 - Mackems 9 - Liverpool 10 - Everton 11 - Villa 12 - Stoke 13 - West Brom 14 - Foolham 15 - Swansealona 16 - Reading 17 - Wet Spam 18 - Wigan 19 - Saints 20 - Naawich
Champions: Man City, simply can't see past them. Relegation: 18: Stoke, believe I'm seeing a negative and downward spiral for Stoke. Alardyce and Wet Spam just pipping them for safety. 19: Wigan, no way will they dodge relegation again after all the departures (assuming Moses leaves). Famous last words. 20: WBA, sorry Steve Clarke just don't think you're up for it.
Champions: It would have to be City for me - the confidence boost that winning the title gives them and the fans (their tension can translate to the pitch) should see them clear. Man U still have a weaker midfield than they've had in the last 20 years. I also think that Chelsea should improve with their younger buys although think they will be defensive and tedious to watch on occasions. Relegation: I think Norwich will struggle without the galvanising influence of Lambert. Their one hope is they haven't tampered with the team too much but I don't really rate Hughton and can't believe he landed a Premiership job after failing to get a very strong Birmingham team out of the Championship. I think Swansea will struggle too - it takes a long time to change systems so they either need to play the same way (which had been found out to a degree last season) or adopt a new method which would result in a slow start (hopefully including a spanking first game). Allen will be a miss too. It's all down to Laudrup and the quality he can bring in uniting the team again. Reading are my last choice - they have bought players very much akin to our "strategy" last year - a lot of disparate individuals that could take too long to settle with no real feel for a unit. As opposed to the above, I think McDermott seems a pretty decent (if somewhat dull) manager although it's a big ask for his first time in the big league. Aside from the above, West Ham with their constant transfer rumours must be feeling a bit unsettled internally and their players who stole the show last season are average Prem players (Cole and Vaz Te worth 10 goals apiece perhaps). Fulham haven't really strengthened and are heavile reliant on keeping Dembele and Dempsey in order to keep themselves afloat. Wigan, Sunderland, Stoke, Villa, West Brom and us should be mixing it in a mini-league above that but we're all in a position where a run of bad form will draw any of us into the mix (similarly, a great run of form sees any of us breaking the top 10).
Interesting thread Ellers Champions Manchester City. Utd have no midfield. Scholes, Giggs, Anderson, etc etc. Relegation Swansea Wigan Reading West Ham to stay up on final day.
I don't believe it's possible to be objective about this; how can I separate those I want to see relegated from those I think rather than hope will struggle? Just hope it won't be us.
Champs - Citeh Going down - Saints, Norwich and Swansea. Swansea could be mid table or they could implode badly, Ive gone for the implosion option as I think their manager will walk out by xmas.
Champs : Man City Relegated : Wigan, Saints and Swansea Wigan havent signed anyone...Rodallega and Diame have already left with Moses following there is no way they will stay up this year
man u to win wba norwich reading to go down qpr top 10 come on u rrssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Man United win- with Hernandez back in scoring form and Kagawa having a big influence. 18th Southampton- Cant see Rodriguez emulating Holt, Morrison and Graham. Lambert wont get as many penalties to take as last year. 19th Wigan- More out of hope than expectation 20th Reading- Pogrenyabak despite his purpule patch has not got a good scoring record and too many championship players Think most on here are way off with Swansea preiction. I have them down as comfortable mid-table. Michu scored 17 goals for Rayo Vallecano from midfield last year and Guzman is supposed to be pretty tidy. Only question is if this Flores can be as good as Caulker and with the cash from Allen they will probaly add some more
