I was hoping for a nice black number, not that much of a fan I have to say.

I like it, and I probably will get it. Any idea if these are 1 or 2 season kits?

I suspect our next away kit will be black and white stripes.....

Do you think that we'll wear it for our game at Cardiff, and if so do you think that a chant of "you're the home team, but we're wearing blue" is in order? Although by the time we play our match in October, they might have heard it a few times.

For a stag weekend we went to watch Dumbarton v Elgin City. The Elgin keeper had a pink kit and a vociferous section of the Sons of the Rock gave him 90 minutes of hell. The fact he let in 5 didn't help, but Elgin had really set him up.

I'm glad you're the one saying it.

There's nothing homophobic or macho about saying that luminous pink and luminous yellow just don't go together. Pink keeper's shirt with a dark blue or black away kit, sure. Yellow home kit with a relatively dull dark green or grey, sure. And at least dull the pink down a bit: the kit below doesn't look bad at all.

Isn't there some idea for very bright GK kits. As in, the striker hits is to the bright target...sure I heard that somewhere!

I think it's the away GK kit that's pink, the home one seems to be grey...so i see what you mean NNW, and if that's true Hamps, then i can live with it, but i won't promise to like it! lol...one of the GKs last year wore pink and as yellowperil said, he got the mickey taken out of him because of it! I hope Almunia doesn't mind! lol

I'm not sure H. Okay, we wore the grey one on Saturday, but judging by the sponsorship on the pink and grey shirts that may change.

Maybe whilst the players wear the football manager one, the GK has to wear the football manager handheld one and vice-versa? That way both are being promoted at all times? Just an idea...
