Didn't realise he was fit again. Can't wait to have this lad in the first team. **** a loan, get him in straight away.

Great news...Don't see a reason why not to try him - Look at Huntington and Edgar a few years back!

    NO!

He's hardly had a run in the reserves since he come back from injury and he's looked ropey when we've played him. He needs a full season out on loan or some more regular sub appearances before we chuck him on against the likes of Manure.

This. Although he looked full of promise against Arsenal. I liked what I saw of him in that match.. hopefully we'll see more of him in the coming years. A loan spell with a decent Championship side would do him the world of good.

I think he will have had a few reserve games, but nothing was made of it because he isnt that high profile, he traveled to that youth tournament in Italy a while ago so surely was at least 50/50 then. If properly fit, give him game time, I thought he was class against Arsenal in the cup, given that he and Ranger were the attacking front 2.

God I hope Owen comes on, just for the reception.

Good to know he's fit enough to be considered but Man Utd might be a step too far.

Wouldn't want to see his confidence harmed by being mauled by a rampant Reds machine.

A quieter introduction to help him along a little maybe.

To be fair, Man U's centre midfield, barring Scholes, is not very impressive and I think Tiote can really take this game by the scruff of the neck and dominate the midfield, if Vuckic does come on its not like Carrick will give him the run around is it?

Hey, hey.. you're underestamating them a bit aren't you Smudger.. Park is one solid customer, Valencia's consistency and reliability, Nani's pace and skill. Don't count your chickens just yet!

Although if we do want to get something out of this then a midfield of Carrick/Gibson/Anderson? will boost our chances <ok>

I know the wingers are excellent, Nani and Valencia both top quality, but the likes of Carrick and Gibson in the middle of the pitch are nothing special IMO and Tiote should dominate them.

Would love that! My mate has got a few season tickets in a box as his dad helped fund it, said I can go along whenever I want!

This! I have yet to see anything in the reserves or first team where he has done anything noteworthy. Not too sure where all the hype has come from (other than we pinched him from some of the top teams - a bit like Viana) - though the last person I was wrong about was Rob Lee <laugh>
