That is absolutely true. If our players think just a little bit about easy match then the Swans will hit us hard. This is the start of the season and with a new manager like Laudrup many teams could play suprisingly well. However i trust sparky and our 2-0 win.
Our last 2 games have been 6 goalers, Swans 4 Blackpool 2 and Swans 3 Stuttgart 3 - so I am going for QPR 0 Swans 6. Only joking, it's going to be 2-2. Don't be fooled by our display at QPR last year when we were shocking. We will be more direct on Saturday.
The last time we won/didnt lose the first game of the season was our debut season in league 1! I can't see the norm changing this season either. 3-1 qpr.

I think MH will realises first home game after all the spending will need to be good. While not the everything it's an important game for for him and the new look team. Don't want to start the same as last year all hopes dashed. Laudrap will probably lay the same sort of importance on his first home game.
Yeah the welcome to the Premier League, that a crap Bolton side gave us last season was painful......watching Cahill bend the ball in the top corner squashed my niavity leading into last season. Im goin with a conservative 1-0 win....only because Swans havent really added much and only lost key personell from last season.....1 being their fairly decent manager!
