    Disagree with this. di Resta was already making a name for himself in DTM before Vettel won the WDC and would've been on a lot of teams' radars regardless of what Seb done. Seb's history might've alerted F1 fans to di Resta, but it's not fans who hand out drives, it's teams, and they don't base their assessments of drivers on how they stack up against others on Wikipedia.

    And it took the likes of Seb and Jackie Stewart to promote him into F1. If anything Sebs world champion status was the final push to get Paul into F1 as they had multiple interviews with him asking how good he was and Seb gave nothing but positive reports about his junior career.

    Di resta's only in f1 because I editted his Wikipedia page to say he's the best ever, pretty fortunate that he was allowed to use it in his cv really ;)

    Can you edit my Wikipedia page (make me one) that says I'm the best ever Rally Cross driver... then I'll pop out and buy me an old fiesta and a few scaffolding poles.

    Always wanted a go at that... looks like fun. :)

    To be honest it would be quite cool to put Pastor in a road car and let him drive on say the M1 during rush hour and just let the carnage commence, I know i'd pay to watch it!

    Maybe he should go on the Top gear?

    Instead of going around the track he could just go through the tyre walls and beat Seb's time by about 10 seconds?

    If we all chip in a few quid we can get Bottas a drive <ok>
    Williams have kept him on for a while so they must see something in him, but is it enough to fill any financial void left by dumping either Maldanado or Senna?

    Doesnt Maldonado bring in enough money to run about 6 teams? Surely that'll keep him in the racing seat. With Bottas having Senna's. But let's be honest, who ever he replaces, he'll do better than the other one.
