I can see him putting out a 4-4-2 formation. Ben Arfa's fitness is below par, he hasn't played a game pre-season yet, so I reckon he'll be on the bench.

Just seeing the ball bulging the back of the net will do for me, I'm not too bothered about which of our players score, I'll be happy to see any of them score as long as we get three points .......... that's the main thing.

Can't wait, and I'm so pleased it's a home game to start the season, never make predictions as I tend to be a bit of a jinx.

Not sure what to expect from Spurs, new manager etc., surprised Hoddle is a God has included Bale after the knock he took, although I must be honest, I've been so preoccupied with the Olympics, I've paid little attention to all else, barely looked at Sky Sports, not quite up to speed with the opposition yet.

 

Let's hope Bale isn't fully fit, otherwise we are in trouble.

 

Wouldn't expect Bale to be playing as far forward as in the first XI, especially playing away.

 

Against Simpson they will go for him.

 

How many are you bringing up HIAG?

 

Tottenham usually bring up a full allocation, think them and Arsenal are the only one's from London who do.

 

This is why I think we should play 4-4-2, and I've change my mind.

Jonas would be better, if we're looking to counter their wings.

We have good quality down the center. We should be solid with Raylor and Jonas on the wings, working with the fullbacks.

Bale, Walker and Lennon's pace and quality on the wings could do us damage, which is why we should try and force them to play centrally, where they don't pose the same threat.

 

Getting all American there Tash.

Hopefully Pards has worked out a game plan to stop the threat from the flanks.
