    Come on!!! Good cover for LB and will more than likely be cover for midfield over the new signings and youngsters as he has top flight (league winning i might add) experience.

    Another 2 players (1 defender + 1 striker) and I think we'll have a strong squad - assuming we don't sell any of our best players, of course.

    I think I'm one of the very few who thought a new CM should be our top priority as for me the difference in class from our first choice pairing (tiote & cabaye) to our replacements (bigi, vuckic, abeid, gosling) is too much.

    Hopefully Anita comes in and settles quickly, as by the sounds of it Cabaye, Tiote & HBA are all struggling for the opening game. He should be match fit having completed a full pre season for Ajax and also playing a competitive match today.

    To be fair I wanted a CM just prefer the other positions, plus we have brought in Bigi and Amalifantano who will be future prospect and this may distract that especially with players like Gosling and Marveaux already there.

    I think Marv will be top class for us this year, looks a very clever player and can probably play anywhere across midfield. Gosling on the other hand just isn't good enough, I live in Plymouth and saw him when he was very young (made his debut at 17) but for me he's never looked anything other than a solid Championship CM. For me he's a poor man's Dyer (for all of Dyer's flaws as a person he was fantastic in Sir Bobby's first 2 years).

    As for our other youngesters, Abeid, Bigi, Amalifantano & Vuckic I'd more than happy for them to get plenty of minutes in europe and carling cup, for me i'd actually loan Vuckic out as for whatever reason I think he's regressed over the last 12 months and needs solid 1st team football. Plus this would allow the other three to get more minutes, no lose situation I reckon.

    Anita is a natural CM. He is almost equally as good on the DM position and solid but not great on the LB position.

    This has the added bonus of allowing me to play with a 3 CM formation on FIFA again, my favoured type, without having to stick Jonas or Marv in CM <laugh>
