http://blogs.channel4.com/alex-thomsons-view/rangers-confluence-interest/2511 I shall refrain from cutting & pasting the whole blog. Those who wish to read it will do so anyway. But just for a taste here are two quotes lifted verbatim from the blog. Make of them what you will.
Nobody can deny these bloggers have been ahead of most of the MSM; faster than most of the MSM and righter than most of the MSM for longer than most of the MSM. Every Ibrox fan owes them all a debt of gratitude for doing them the service the Glasgow football media lamentably failed to provide in all but a few cases.
Meanwhile Ian Black gets called up for Scotland for his div3 performances , yet Kris Commons displays in champions league are not good enough for a call up .
Craig Levein obviously saw that Scotland were lacking in the tricky to fill 'dirty bastard' midfield position.
Ian Black being in the international squad means that Rangers started with eight internationalists on Saturday against a team that trains 4 hours a week If anyone missed the Twitter leadup to Thomson publishing this, he tweeted the previous night thanking Chris Graham (and a few of his minions) for info on the "conflict of interest" and he would blog on it the following day. Some Celtic fans reacted with dismay to this while Mr Paranoid got a bit of gloatery on. Just for them to read this absolute bitchslap ****ing idiots.
Quality journalism from MSM. Bill Leckie writing in 1997: Is it safe to come out from behind the couch yet?
"...But something has happened at Ibrox, something you can't put your finger on, which seems to have propelled them into a different orbit." Well, Mr Leckie, I think the 'finger' has been well and truly put on that 'something' now ... cheating barstewards.
At least he doesnae ****e out of a square go <topical> <haudmeback>
Jeezo that looks like a classy establishment, what a bunch of arseholes. I'm no Leckie lover but those pricks need a doing.
I think it was in Milan. Prior to the match, Leckie said it was going to be a beasting, after the match, he ignored Celtic being the only team in Europe that season to hold Milan over two legs and made up some ra singing. The guys are knobs. Leckie's a knob. I reckon they should've got right doon tae it.
The Rangers club were something special. Not only during the 139 years and a bit that they existed did they get all the plaudits Scottish Football could serve. Players like Ron McKinnon and Sandy Jardine and over a hundred others got capped for Scotland when they hadn't got the ability to clean the boots of true International stars like B. McNeill and D Mc Grain. Referees in the days of the first coming of Rangers even before they were under the tutorage of H Dallas used every trick they processed to help the huns. Even though the huns are dead and buried last June the Scottish Authorities carry on as before picking the "animal" called Black, referee didn't book him on Saturday and the referee told the "newalivehun's captain that play would continue to the new huns scored. Nothing changes.
