They're reported to want £15m. We've already bid £12m. So he's worth £12m to us also.

I'm surprised Wickham isn't rated by a lot of Sunderland fans. I think the lad is going to be a good player. For a player of his style, he's still very young. By the time he's 21-22, he could be a really good player. Don't write him off yet, i think we should stick with this lad!

That being said, for the current, we do need players we KNOW are going to put the ball in the back of the net. I think we need more creativity, too. Fletcher is a good player, but 20 million is dumb. There has to be better options available!

 

I can't see Wickham improving that much . In addition, we haven't got time to wait. The way things are looking it's gonna be a long hard season. We need a goalscorer NOW.

hope its wickham just on loan, and not for 12 + wickham perm, s they hve got 1 hell of a deal there (tbh I rate Wickham better than Fletcher, so we have definately got the ****ty end of the stick on this deal)

Hmm I'm just mainly relieved that we'll finally have a Premiership standard striker in our ranks to be honest (Ji and Wickham could be in the future but they aren't ready at the minute.)

 

I don't know why he'd score less than half the goals for us he's scored for wolves.

I can see him getting 10-12.
