Roary the tiger had an immense game today. In the mostly empty ground the kids followed him about like the pied piper, which gave parents and guardians a chance to concentrate on the football. His high fiving was top quality and hardly any child missed a hug or a photo oppurtunity. Due to the low attendance he was able to join people in the seats for pics etc and generally worked his socks off. A couple of hours in a tiger suit on a day like to today would not be my thing so I take my hat off to him. One pound only for two hours baby sitting, epic. Roary the tiger, take a bow.
Its something ive seen on the rugby forums I use and thought it was worth a go on here. Ill count all the votes, a first is 3 points, second 2 and third 1, then ill keep a track all season, league and cup.
I didn't go to the game or listen to it so I can't really say a man of the match with too much accuracy. However, I'm going for 1) Chester 2) Proschwitz 3) Aluko
Thought Faye was outstanding, and promisingly, I didn`t think anyone had a bad game. Faye Stewart Almost any of the rest
Votes like this could make a complete mockery of any meaningful poll.If you haven't watched the game how the diddly squat can you have an opinion and vote?
I thought he was comfortable in the second half. The first half was a different story. I was never confident he was going to catch the ball even when it casually floated towards his chest. I'm reserving judgement for now, I think mentally we were still in pre-season.
I was twenty rows back in a well populated part of the west stand. All the urchins headed off to see Roary just after kick off and most spent the entire game interacting with Roary when he was in the vicinity and the rest of the time running beserk with each other until he came back round. They had a whale of a time. My ten year old niece will not have had the slightest idea what went on, on the pitch, but that didn't stop her asking her mum to get her a season pass when she got home. As for the motm thing. 1 Dudgeon. Very solid game, just shaded it from, 2 Chester. Usual top class performance. 3 Faye. Looked comfortable and assured. Cam Stewart did look better than he has done but will have to play better than that if he wants to hold down a regular first team place. Some poor decisions when in possesion on occasion.
I was sat on Row B W4 West Lower but, I had to move because the view is awful and they were 2 little kids running up and down like headless chickens.
i think if you build in 10% margin for clowns, there seems to be realistic theme in these primary results. hats of to the bloke who's gonna keep the scores. top man and i hope you keep it going
