I'm still not panicing, just like when Bruce bought us a full new squad, I never got excited because the players were clearly not much better then what we had. At least MON is not wasting money. If every transfer window he just buys 1 or 2 real quality players that easily go into the first team and improve us, I will be happy. Like I have stated before, we have had many a year now where we have had a squad overhaul and it hasn't really taken us forward in reality so lets give MON time and try building our squad in stages over a period of time that is going to include quality signings that will gradually improve the team. Im also a believer that in a settled squad we will see greater improvements LONG TERM than we will ever see, in effect, buying a new team every window. Of course, I am not saying everyting is rosy, but if by the end of August when the window shut if we have not signed a striker plus another player that will go straight into our first team, then will be the time to panic. Until that time comes, I will not panic.
Bruce bought some good players some greedy ones but some good ones Gyan good but greedy Bent good but greedy Sessegnon brilliant not greedy
Elmo, Riveros, Da Silva, Angelrie, Kilgallon, Vaughan, Gardner, Campbell, Wickham, Ji There's just a few that he signed that were never going to improve us a team and a lot of money wasted as well.
Problem being with a poor start we can then be held to ransom for players. Not panicking or despondent but expected more activity in the transfer market.
Same mate. I do think though that O'Neil is certainly going in for players, and we are being told they are either unavailable or clubs are quoting to high at the moment. If that is the case then by walking away and not paying the silly prices, then O'Neil is doing the right thing by walking away.......... for the time being.
