Udinese were excellent. We weren't particularly bad, but they were just too good. The only Saints player who really didn't deliver for me was Adam Lallana. Too often hiding when we needed him to be available to recieve the ball and do something positive with it. He needs a kick up the arse to show that he doesn't have the luxury of being able to go missing, especially now he's playing a role with such influence in the middle. They knew Lallana was having a shocker, so focussed their attention on the other 2, so they didn't get much time. Clyne, JWP, Steven Davis, Puncheon and Rodriguez all looked decent though.

Still concerned, have to get this off my chest.

4-3-3. It doesn't suit our personnel. Rickie isolated. Jay Rodriguez isolated. The latter being so easy to work out for the other team, he will always be cutting inside on his stronger foot. Lallana tracked with ease, JWP bullied at times, Schneiderlin giving away possession. The formation just didn't seem to click with our players, Schneiderlin and Lambert were getting clearly pissed off with the lack of cohesion.

    Sort it out Nigel.

I was just waiting for this response.
She is more British than Mo Farah will ever be,she is a mix.Her mother is from Derbyshire and her father is from Jamaica as you pointed out.

So she is at least half a Brit which is more than Mo Farah.

Several of our English cricket players are not British born either. Lallana has a foreign name...is he not British? None of us know what mix we are unless we've been DNA tested.

So we're entitled to half of Ennis's medal then.

Went to school in Britain, grew up in Britain, lives in Britain, represents Britain, feels British. His blood may not be British but he certainly is.

I wonder what our medal count is if we can only count people who have two British parents or should we insist that all their grandparents are as well.

If you're born in a stable, are you a horse?

Also Farah's father is English so biologically he's just as British as Ennis is. Just, Ennis is white.

Can we stop ****ing about with debate about nationality and who should represent GB? This is a ****ing thread for discussing a ****ing preseason friendly in which we got ****ed over for ****'s sake.

    He knows what???

As for taking charge of Southampton FC, unfortunately haven't had much luck on the euro lottery lately!!!
If I had Cortese might warrent an interview as my chief exec. But saying that I would probably spend my loose change and buy PFC and appoint myself as chief exec, would be so much more fun. Would love to see the Pompey faithful as they're team took to the pitch with they're new red and white stripes
