Ok it doesn't look good but as the title says it could be worse we could be... I take that back. I just started watching the women's walking race. My life could not be worse, how is that an Olympic sport??? It's painful to watch but I can barely tear myself away. It manages to be disgustingly dull and hilarious at the same time.
it could be a lot worse, Portsmouth anyone, Rangers perhaps, Luton - god forbid and lets not forget our locals neighbours - Darlington - poor sods.
****ing hell man, we've lost a few pre season friendlies, we've played no games, no points, just like every ****er else We'll have at least 2 players in this week who are better than what we've got and another 3 by 31st august, we'll be ok imo
I will try and believe you, otherwise I might do like that guy in Dad's army 'We are doomed, doomed' in a Scottish accent!
Once we've got them in I'll feel a lot better. Until then it's panicky though. Can't help it. Seongnam 1 Sunderland 0 Groningen 2 Sunderland 3 Hartlepool United 1 Sunderland 0 Helsingborgs 2 Sunderland 0 Derby 1-1 Sunderland Leicester City 1 Sunderland 0 That's hard to swallow.
I dont even think those 2 can be sure of that in all honesty. We have to trust them though as there is sod all else we can do, and even if its sept 2nd and its still the same, what can we do apart from cross our fingers and hope they know what they are doing.
i said, if its still the same we have to cross our fingers and hope for the best, but I still dont think we will go down, but we may struggle for top 10 if we dont buy anyone at all.
and? a lot of us thought they would never come back up, but they did, a lot of us thought they would go straight back down, they didnt, a lot of us thought they would have a second season syndrome and struggle, they got into bloody europe (which even they didnt expect). truth is no one knows, I think pardew be the first manager sacked next season, just for the fact last year is a hard act to follow, and I dont believe they can follow it, doesnt mean I will be correct, its just a gut feeling.
