Brazil were pretty poor when they played New Zealand up here, their fans were much more colourful than the team.

 

Mr LTF had Brazil as his team for the sweep at work, he would have won £160, one winner only, nothing for runner up, I think he thought it was cut and dried, never mind, one of those things I guess.

 

I think a lot of people would have thought it was cut and dried, including the Brazilian team. They seemed to think they only had to turn up to win it.

Big mistake.

 

Well it's almost time for Mo to take to the track, he's asking an awful lot from himself, he'll give it his all no matter what, but at least he already has one Gold under his belt. Good luck to him!

 

An absolute privilidge seeing Mo take his second gold, one of the bravest performances I've ever seen,
He's just said he's doing the GNR, double the crowds no doubt, hope ACS is clocking up the miles in training, he may get spotted.

 

Think he'll need a piggy back off Mo.

 

I think Brazil thought all they had to do was turn up yesterday.

I'm not a huge boxing fan but watched Luke Campbell take Gold.
Great feeling, Ive loved the Olympics and so proud of TeamGB.

 

I think we can all be proud of everybody taking part, they've been a great Games and all our contestants have been up for it.

 

Will be supporting Stephen Miller in the Paralympics.

You just can't imagine how tough it must be for some of these people to put themselves through what able bodied people wouldn't dream of doing.

 

Seen him a few times going into SJP a real Hero for young paralympian's.

 

Got to say never watched the Paralympics but you have to pay credit to every single one of them for fighting problems they've had and being able to reach a successful level.

 

Eleanor Simmonds is anothr one to watch. Great swimmer and great personality.

 

Hope Mo Farah knows he has stiff competition in GNR with ACS running this year.

Watching the marathon now, there are thousands off people on the route cheering, just brilliant.

 

Silver in one boxing class, Gold in the super heavyweight. Great fight, 3 points down going into final round and won on countback. One medal up for grabs for us now, Womens pentathlon. We got two girls in the top 10 after 2 events. Can't believe it's almost over, don't want it to end

 

It's made for great viewing and TV just won't be the same for a long time to come, if ever.

 

Well, not for another four years

But yeah, it makes a pleasant change to have something decent to watch virtually all of the time. A final medal in the pentathlon would really finish it in style.

 

But will it, could it, be as good in four years time?
