He is not in the team today and I haven't heard him being injured therefore I reckon something has been lined up and we are therefore not going to get him cup-tied. Anyone hea of anything?
we were unlucky tewkesbury, gave a good account of ourselves, should have had a penalty and played just as well, if not better than, watford. however we lacked that clinical touch, which beavon may have given to us. sad times, looks like beaver has gone hopefully we got a decent amount for him and waddock can use this wisely to get another striker in. is paul hayes still avaliable? this is of cause assuming beavon isent actually ill as WWFC said...
We can all see from the pre-season results and the Watford game that we desperately need a striker. In my view, as much as I love "Beaver" we need this sorting soon so we can get a replacement in asap and start the season strongly. We could rue dropped points early doors and if we are getting to the stage where either Waddock doesn't want to play him (to protect his investment) or the player has his heart set on a move, time is of the essence!!
Sky Sports News reporting that PNE have made bid for Beavon - http://www1.skysports.com/transfer-centre/clockwatch
I read on Twitter that Preston is the likely destination for Beavon. I didn't expect him to still be with us this close to the new season but sounds like a move is close.

Perhaps Westley will lose interest in Beavon as a result of his new signing. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7995630/Preston-deal-in-Sodje
