Glad to hear that Shrewsbury were practising there penalties this week in preparation for possible penalty shoot out
McCormack off, and Diouf on. Huge boos come through on the radio. really do not like that. Could splinter us worse than we ever thought possible
best left unmentioned! Wow, Diouf just got a lot of booing there. I'm not a fan of him, but that ain't right
Mark Heywood is the ref. Don't understand that, he's from Rothwell and came through the Leeds Sunday and Saturday leagues. Very surprised he is able to ref
Kirwin needs to get his head out of his ass: "I'm pretty sure they're singing Diouf there and not booing him" Keep kidding yourself mate, right or wrong it's crystal clear what's happening.
Didn't realise Clattenburg got the Olympic Final which incidentally Mexico are winning 2-1 in injury time v Brazil
Happy with that Sounds like we still have a bit of settling in to do, but a good performance from what I could tell
Eddie Gray "I thought we did ok. Always going to be awkward, first game for a lot of new players, we should be very satisfied" A massive plus is the introduction of Sam Byram, sounds like he had a great game, and this was a good competitive game where the defense had to remain solid, we rode a bit of luck with Kenny playing very well, and it seems we were creative when we had the chance to be. Austin hit a couple - one a shot that was parried and Becchio stabbed in, then a great ball through for McCormack to put Varney in - suggesting he could be our equivalent of Bowyer. Varney played well apparently, Norris did well, McCormack seemed to be playgin as a real team player, and Becchio was roughed up. We just need the icing on the cake and things could appear very different for us
