Check out the prices for the Blackburn away game http://www.hullcityafc.net/news/article/blackburn-a-ticket-info-302369.aspx Just been talking to a Blackburn fan and their season tickets for an adult are £225
£20 for an adult for championship football is spot on, well done Blackburn. Shame we can't follow suit, we'll be charging up to 50% more for a large proportion of games this season.
I'm hoping these go to pay on the gate as i'll be in Preston that week so was going to just jump on the train but not sure if i can go for sure so pay on the gate would be perfect. Don't buy too many tickets lads
Our season card is good value. Blackburns price is just crazy and a bung to hopefully shut up the masses. imo. More to the point, Are we behind the goal or stuck down the side ? I remember the 6,000+ for our debut PL away game behind the goal. Great day.
I imagine just a small section due to the whole Wednesday night thing, but then it is our first away game of the season, but reckon we'll be down the side
Agreed sadly. But it could be a very entertaining night OFF the pitch mind. Especially if Blackburn lose @ Ipswich Town next saturday.
Aren't the away fans always behind the goal in the Darwen End, I can't remember ever not being? We're going to have to find a new place to drink, the away fans pub just outside the ground is now a no-go area... http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.u...96085.Away_fans_not_welcome_in_Blackburn_pub/
To be honest with it being a wednesday night drinking wont be an issue. Thankfully i am also glad we get this game out of the way so early in the season. Blackburn Rovers is fast becoming a No Go Area. imo. The article refers to The Fernhurst being a family friendly pub now. As one comment says "" anyone with land close by will make a killing by doing what The Fernhurst used to do"". I bet profits on match nights will be well hit by this.
No skin off my nose, it was a **** day out when I went in '08 (a real shame given that it was our first ever top-flight away game) and I can only imagine it being ten-times worse for a midweek match. I'll not be bothering, though Charlton the following Saturday looks tempting...
Should be interesting,as reports on bbc are saying Kean will be sacked if they lose first three games.
You will be in the minority with those views i would suggest. Nice n Relaxed atmosphere, good game and our first PL away point. Went back to the pub after the game whilst the traffic cleared. Yes. But not reports, fact. Shavvy Singh went public at a fans meeting shown on SSN saturday night. IF the players really want Steve Kean Out then expect them to throw the Ipswich,Hull and Leicester games.
didn't warp start a thread jut yet but could one of you lads confirm whether we can get tickets at the stand vs Charlton . thanks
Don't we have a really good record of costing managers their jobs? I was hoping Kean would stay with them tbh, removes them from anywhere in the top half of the table.
