I ruled my self out when Mick announced that Syd was resigning as mod as it is a tough job and you need a very active member to control the modding of the whole site. All the mods and members come to you for advice and other things such as bannings, board problems, etc.

Fair enough Alan lad. If the list does not have a suitable candidate then perhaps PM some members that you think may be suitable candidates.
We were chatting on the mod board about the new mod who will be chosen to be a respected member who we can trust with running the site. The site mod would have access to things such as user info, banning tools, ip tracking tools, full list of user data, ability to ban a member with one click of a mouse, etc.
Respect to that. If i was super mod, I would set it up so that any one who neg-repped a manc would automatically get 10 rep points
