Portsmouth encapsulate everything that is wrong in the game. Tasteless remarks regarding our beloved deceased owner are to be expected from a shower of cretins who bully people from money owed to them <ok>

I love Fratton. May be a dump but its our dump. If we ever get round to building a new stadium, (which I'm trying to make rough designs of on google sketch) I hope they keep it in Fratton.

Know what you mean, we loved the Dell, but it was a dinosaur stadium, simply not fit for purpose, we should have moved to Stoneham but the NIMBYs won out and we were lucky to have a Council prepared to support the Club, the result was St. Marys, not perfect but surely good enough for the immediate future.

And Stoneham was going to be 26,000 capacity, which is way too small to even begin to compete. The present capacity hardly leaves room for Saints to rest on their laurels, in terms of turnstile generated income. BTW, the Nimbys in this particular case were Eastleigh Borough Council. I think if they had their time again, they wouldn't have voted the same way. I'm sort of glad they voted against, with the unambitious plans that were submitted back then. Nowadays, I'd expect a thoroughly more thought through set of schemes.

We weren't quite as ambitious in those days and I am sure the Stadium could have been expanded if there had been the need to do so, it was an ideal location through it's transport connections, but sadly not to be and is history now.

I can only apologise on behalf of Not606 Pompey fans and would definitely add that anyone making these sort of tasteless remarks on our site, will be quickly banned.

Also, you will be happy to know Mailer91, that I can look up anyone's IP address, as a Mod on the Pompey board and know full well, when a previously banned member is back and keep Tabs on them to make sure they aren't up to more mischief!

We don't encapsulate everything wrong with the game, just quite a lot of what's wrong with the game. Anyone who makes tasteless remarks about a dead person is a piece of chav vile scum regardless of what team they support.

Although quite frankly, your comments regarding the matter are neither appreciated or helpful.

Surely its better to have Southampton fc's stadium in the centre of southampton rather than out of town? I'm very glad they didnt go out of town the clubs meant to be part of the community and it lets the local fans walk to the stadium rather than having to get busses and stuff.

Thank you Herminator, Lapras and Meowth for your words.

We all know that rivalries can become intense at times but here on Not606 I think it is safe to say that the vast majority of our two sets of fans are normal football loving fans who just happen to support a different colour and are in the main ordinary sensible people.

Banter is a big part of our supporting scenario and long may it last.

We do still owe you blues a mauling or two and hopefully they won't be too far in arriving.

    As for the stadium.

I am extremely pleased that we have our ground near to where we began way back when.
