Proof, if ever it was needed. We're off to europe again, they get to go to wales away once in the season so i guess that's consolation.

    Funny, but old.

A funny thing happened on Twitter today though -

A Mackem asked - "Who the **** is Atromistos that the unwashed are playing, never heard of them".

A Toon fan replied - "Of course you wouldn't have heard of them, they're in Europe".

    Pwnage!

Yewrope is Yewrope, I suppose we'll be hearing a lot more about that during the course of the season.

Nice touch that they sent the original letter a year to the day after the famous 5-1 <laugh>

Good enough warm up but there's only the one 5-1 that really matters.

Was talking about that one on the way home on Tuesday. How the away supporters were streaming down the aisles and out of the ground when our third one went in. Looked quite funny from the Gallowgate End.

He's saying how on the way home from Hartlepool, he was discussing the other famous 5-1, probably due to the fact the Hartlepool game finished by the same scoreline.

Also, my overriding memory was us all cheering when they scored their goal <laugh>

haha class, I did get it though, I tend to refer to that game as the 5under1and game

I have to say, it's awful bad luck for them to lose to their bitter rivals by a score line that so conveniently fits into the name of their club.
