How much money have we made from sales? £10m? £15m net spend isn't too bad. Another buy and loan should do to make use of some of the space in the wage pot. Could see another sale, hopefully not Agger.
Quite happy with the squad as it is to be honest. If we need to change anything we can add in January. Would like to see Cole go though and maybe Adam.

Yeah, I think the squad is capable of achieving better results than last season. Top 4 is going to be a big ask with or without players like Tello and Ramirez. They would just be bonus signings right now... probably only get them if we sell someone or of course loan. Easier said than done.
Yea, the squad looks fine right now. Perhaps another player to play in the front three would be nice. The top four is a big ask, there are lots of very good teams in the prem at this moment, as long as we keep moving forward then that is fine. Realistically we can't really do much worse than last season. Some people are a bit worried because the owners are not spending lots of money. But the way they have reduced the wage bill and brought in young players is the right way to go in this difficult economic climate IMO. They appear to be shrewd business men with a strategy. Allen and Borini, not exacly star names, but both have bags of abilty, and at there age can surely only improve. I think getting rid of Maxi, Kuyt and Bellamy is exacly the right thing to do. Just hope we don't let Agger go, but we have to trust Rodgers.
