only a few weeks left till the window closes and we have only signed 1 player and sold 4 players, i cant understand what is taking so long with the transfers for f***sake.
i fear allen may be the only next signing in this window and this will leave us short on players.

i for the life of me cant understand why he has let bellamy go, a player who was one of our best players last season and also impressed in the gb olympics team.
brendan may be a good manager but he seems slow on the uptake when it comes to buying and selling players and has not impressed me in the slightest.

Bellamy wanted to go to be near his family. I too am sorry to see him go but it's understandable why he has and all credit to Rodgers in having the compassion to allow him to go.
Last season we bought in a lot of players who didn't really perform with any consistency. I would rather he takes his time and get the right players. Borini looked good last night, nice technical ability.
Allen will be a great addition I feel so let's just give the guy a chance.

It seems Brendan is taking his time because he's signing what the club needs, he won't waste money on players that won't add to what he calls ''his group''.
He's signed what some may call a real striker as Suarez is a Peter Beardsley type and Andy Carroll is a target man. He's signed a player that can perform two roles, one being that he can deputise for Lucas, something we lacked last season, and the other being with Lucas in the side he can play further up the pitch due to being lightning quick.
I've a feeling however there will be one more. Its just a feeling I have in my gut. Brendan did say, if he could get one signing finalised quickly others will follow, and that doesn't include Fabio Borini as its been a number of weeks since he signed.

the thing that grinds me is that some players who need to be sold are still with us (adam, spearing, eccleston ect) why has he not moved these players on. if i had just taken over as manager they would be the first to go, instead brendan has got rid of some quality players and kept the crap ones .

Because they have contracts and if nobody wants them then they will stay. You just can't get rid of players like that.

What quality players has he got rid of with the exception of Bellamy who wanted to leave for personal reasons?
Maxi has been in Europe for over 10 years and wanted to go back to his native Argentina. Fabio Aurelio wanted to go back to Brazil and had been told he was being released anyway.

Dirk Kuyt accepted that he wasn't going to get the game time that he wanted and decided at his age he needed a new challenge. As for Aquilani, good player that he is, he was as suited to the premier league as Joey Barton is to La Liga, and it was inevitable that he was going to leave.

So I cannot see what the fuss is about.

Believe Bellamy was offered 60k a week at QPR, was on more than that at LFC but accepted £30k a week at Cardiff

Bellers apparently lived alone in Liverpool last season, with his family in Cardiff

Maybe waiting to see if Allen came before moving Adam on etc.You don't throw everyone away and then find you didn't get any improvement/replacements.

Seriously! Everyone's entitled to an opinion but since when do we greet the news of a new player with whining & bitching?

Saw way too many years of panic buying/buying a player to be seen doing business only to see them warm their arses for 3 years at our expense.

I'd rather we didn't sign anyone else if we can't get who the manager believes is vital.

He actually did that for a couple of years when he lived in London and Manchester, and the only time he did live with his family on a constant basis was when he was at Cardiff on loan.

I think most LFC fans would see Spearo,Cole n Adam as surplus to requirements

It aint that easy though especially with Cole cos hes on such high wages and wont move unless LFC pay him off or they are matched somewhere else which they wont be

Think we will see 3 maybe 4 more in before the end of the window, with the above 3 possibly offloaded. With questions over Carroll n Agger too ( Rodgers would like rid of Carroll but not Agger , but the OWNERS woulkd sanction Agger leaving for £25m + )

Apparently Rodgers is interested in Sahin,Tello,Dempsey n Walcott

If we do not sell a(ny) player, or buy anymore players.

we start the season with an excellent squad.

    Bored of this now...

People moan when we take our time with transfers to make sure we get the right people and aren't held to ransom over fees...
Yet these are probably the same people moaning that Henderson, Carrol & Downing were all overpriced and we paid way too much and they aren't good enough blah blah blah

My conclusion, people like to moan. I'm pretty sure Rodgers knows the squad better than us and knows what he needs in order to play his style of football. If he doesn't find anyone out there at the moment then he won't spend and we'll wait until the time is right.

He won't sign players for the sake of signing them. If he feels a player will fit into what he wants he will sign them. If a player that he currently has doesn't, they will be moved on.

Looks like it. He never answered my question when I said. ''What quality players have left with the exception of Bellamy who left for personal reasons?''
I also gave genuine reasons why I felt the others moved on. Stilll no reply.
This is a very bad wind-up article.

are you serious , aquaman, kuyt, and maxi are all quality the later two didnt have age on their side . if you actually read my post i meant they where better quality then some of the players we still have . i mearly expressed my genuine opinion on a forum open for all lfc supporters and i get called this and that.

even if people come here to moan and b*tch its there opinion and there right to do so. i for one wont be using this forum again as some people cant handle someone elses OPINION. idoits.
