I haven't been all that impressed by the Olympics, just not my thing. Usain Bolt, I'll admit, makes me want to be Jamaican. The Great Britain squad have surpassed expectations. But I've been pretty impartial until now. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/olympics/19206985 This guy sprinted two hundred metres with a broken leg. Nails.
Dunno why disco I'm doubtful on this one. This Jap managed it on the rings with a shattered knee. Finished his career. He also had the bottle to say he wouldn't do it again.
I just cant see someone running with a broken leg mate. When I was younger we were playing a match and 10 minutes in my mate got hacked down, no subs so he played on in pain. Turns out he had a hairline fracture, so I suppose that could technically be called a broken leg? But to me broken leg is the actual bone snapped.
I'm not sure myself mate. For them to make a big deal about it, it must have been bad. Hairlines fractures are common place with runners, especially marathon runners but to a lesser extent sprinters as well!
