I'm enjoying every minute of pompey's suffering and long may it continue, but ultimately I don't want them to be liquidated and cease to exist
Exactly. We have unfinished business with the skates. They need to be kept alive so we can inflict pain on them.
Pompey are extremely lucky that the Football League doesn't start a week earlier than the PL for once due to the Olympics. They have an extra week to somehow sort themselves out.
I bet they have a few players waiting the result of this...no way are they really one week from start of season with no players.
Isn't there still an issue with them getting a football league licence? I thought Chainrai needed to agree to take a hit on his debt?
It's apparently cost them £8m just for an early pay off! PST bid doesn't have a chance. Think that would be a worse buyer than BC to a certain extent...
http://eurorivals.net/squad/portsmouth.html interesting viewing .............. i think it's a lil out of date !!
Lets face it, Pompey fans are like pigs in **** when they think the whole world is against them and their club is in a miserable position. They bloody love it that way. Winning the Cup was soul destroying to most of them.
I just can't see them hanging on for much longer, they still owe a load of people money and I wouldn't be surprised to see them relegated again this season with their small, inexperienced squad (that's if they last that long!) It would take a lot of patience, but I think a lot of Pompey fans would like their club to start from scratch.
Just seen this on twitter: The Saints Server ‏@TheSaintsServer @elviiin Difference between Portsmouth Football Club & Markus Liebherr today? #Pompey are very much alive. #saintsfc Have some respect ffs! Bit in bold is my response Disgusting if you ask me
