Hi Sheepy - I'm still around pal. Count me in again this season no probs. (Craig joining us today had no bearing on my decision ) Doubt I can go through the playoffs again though - that R2D2 bloke was just too good for me last time.
I've been taking elocution lessons Spark. I went to watch us play Cheltenham and was surrounded by dulcet tones. Decided then it was time to have a refresher course.
Zzzzzap.... Siambluebird (Div 1: 1st C) After winning a thrilling inaugural title where he just piped GLAM on CR’s (close or what) Siam will be looking to defend his title. His achievement is put into even more perspective when you consider that he languished in 8th at the close of the transfer window. A surge of 18 points from 12 games when all others were struggling took him to the summit. When commenting on his achievement, Siam stated “The fact is you have to predict us to lose on occasions to win this thing! A tainted chalice” Let that be a lesson to the rest of you! Oldsparkey (Div 2: 7th) Sparkey did well to snatch the final playoff spot from UniBrum and Blueturk with a crafty CR and an even craftier bonus point to secure the matter by two clear points. His promotion dream was quickly swept aside by ccfcrtOp and managed the lowest score in the semi-finals. Sparkey managed the incredible achievement of only gaining one CS (the only person to get the 3-0 away win at Derby) and finish in the top half with 16 CR’s, one of the Silver Boot. A couple more CS this season and Sparks will surely be in the running.
GhostOfNinian (Div 1: 18th R) Relegated on the penultimate weekend of the season Ghost’s record fell away at the end after a run of 4 straight no predictions. Up until then Ghost’s performance had been consistent just missing that final ingredient of CS’s. Will be looking to bounce straight back
It's a nightmare when life gets in the way of making predictions...! Cheers man and keep up the good work!
