I doubt it. The fans have suffered enough and Pompey have been punished enough. Time to draw a line and let them start again. imo.
You do realise there's an economic crisis going on. The yard arms will be redundant if we don't use them. What sort of legacy will that leave for our children and their children and their children... Anyway, we don't make the rules, it's just about obeying orders.
They've certainly not had enough punishment. Too many times Pompey have been let off, they've broke the rules and got themselves in this situation, it's their fault and nobody elses they should therefore get whatever is coming to them, which i hope is financial collapse and pompey liquidated giving the fans themselves a chance to re-start the club and build it back up.
start again for sure. they should pay the tax-payer what they owe, and begin life in the solent and district sunday conference.
If Pompey are liquidated I would hazard a guess that the taxpayer, and all other creditors (from both administrations) would receive approximately 0 pence in the £
A little bit more than that (but not much). I agree that Pompey should be liquidated - in any other business they would have done after/during the first administration. But if they are they will not repay the taxpayer a penny
Maybe as one final act / punishment Pompey should be denied promotion for say at least 3 years if they were to win it ?
Too many chances and chancers, stick it to em for everything wrong they have done; they could be getting stuck for some time yet! Justice rules!
You do of course realise that but for a certain local businessman we could just be talking about a certain team called Hull City. True Pompey have been their own worse enemy and anyone, that has been involved in either ownership or board level, at Pompey in the last few years should be given a lifetime ban from been involved in Football at any level again.
