This did not go as planned did it UIR? Sly dig that back fired - thanks you blues for that.

I'll admit im no fan, but most Chelsea fans dilike for Spurs seems to be making more sense to me as the days pass.

I'd like to see them wobble and United struggle but I can see the opposite for both.

You were like the bull who stood is ground in an abatoir...lol

I can see there are differences, but there are also a lot of similarities......me and my brother are not identical, but people do say wer look similar, not that we look different........Fergie was definately in some sense of the word Hypocritical...If not for Rooney, then certainly Anderson, (18m) totally unproven.....

Personally I think if you had just signed Lucas Moura for that money, you would be singing his praises as one of the futures worlds best as anyone would....

What Fergie was doing is getting pissy that he has spent the summer going after a player and the player has chosen to go somewhere else..

Anderson would of been a better argument but still flawed considering he cost half the amount and had experience in europe, albeit a mediocre league.

The similarities were age, it really did end there though. Different players at different levels and different qualities. Hazard cost the same sort of money as this guy and he was already proven in the french league.

Its fair to say we would of been pissed at the fee had we paid what PSG have, we were unhappy with the reported fee, for precisely the reasons above, he was unproven. And paying £9million for an agent is beyond mental. Just wouldnt happen plain and simple.

I think I speak for every United fan when I say we have no shame in losing out to players whos agents want that sort of money. They do **** all and are the least important part of the transfer. The sooner they are gone the better.

I think that is an area that everyone would agree with you...Agents are taking money out of the game and milking the system......Bottom feeders...

But fergie is still a hypocrite..lol

Lol, what did we do now?!

Whatever ridicule you guys get is deserved when you react to beating 3rd rate opposition at home with a thread about the "amazing" performance <laugh>

What's the obsession with playing in Europe first? The P.L is a unique league and equally as many players from the likes of Holland and Italy have failed to impress in the P.L despite doing well in other European leagues. Anderson for instance had been playing in a fairly weak Portuguese league and was a teenager and United still shelled out 18m for him. A Brazilian teenager with nowhere near the talent at that age as Moura, a Brazilian international.

The Brazilian league is a good league and has some fantastic talent. Like United wouldn't spend 35 million on Neymar if they had the chance.

It makes a huge difference to be proven in europe if your moving to a european club.

I cant think of a single brazilian who moved to a top club and was an instant success. Often they go to a second tier club and learn the game over here then step up.

Anderson was highly rated, very highly rated infact. Ronaldinho comparisons at the time lol.

Pretty much every Spurs poster on here is a wind up merchant and your board often focuses on ridiculing us. One poster constantly slags us off but he never gets dealt with. So I have little respect from that point of view and it annoys me.

On the street Spurs fans think they're the dogs bollocks when they are really not.

I was not going to join this thread until I saw the USA women's team in those crass t-shirts by Nike after beating Japan. If ever a team deserved, nay needed to fail, it is them. What they done boarders on shaking your faith in humanity. The love in of world sport tarnished by American ignorance, greed and triumphalism. Actually was anyone ever in any doubt Team USA would do something like this at the Olympics? We are all fools for not seeing it coming.

Start training you daughters now my fellow footie lovers. We need a World XI to kick the US women's team collective butts wearing wooden clogs. Get our girls in those beauties now, send them to school in clogs, eat meals in clogs, sleep in their clogs. Then one day my friends one glorious day, as the 15th goal goes sailing passed the US goalie (sponsored by Vagisil) we can rejoice knowing that we have all struck a just blow for liberty and humanity.

    *and polar bearity*

Pato barely plays for Milan, never really has done and hasnt lived up to the hype.

Probably because he didnt go to the middle ground club or get handled right at AC Milan.

Pato has gone backwards but looked brilliant for his first couple of seasons and some other clubs were looking to pay serious money for him including us. Don't let facts get in the way though.

Bottom line, did Fergie moan about PSG spending 35 million on a teenager...yes. Has Fergie also spent similar money on a teenager...yes. Hypocrite. There's no shame in admitting it, go on, you'll feel better about yourself afterwards.

Just a little point....last year we had our worst season since the 50s.........But we still managed to beat Valencia 2-0 in preseason.....You should probably check on your own performances before looking at other peoples!!

Hes never ever played more than 33 games a season, he was highly rated but has done nothing so hes a flop as things stand. Had he gone to a smaller club or worked harder at Milan he would of been a success I feel.

and theres nothing to admit, stop acting like a moron now, the time has passed <ok>
