Delightful as Ennis is I can't look beyond Wiggins - Tour De France followed in less than a month by Olympic Gold. It would take something pretty special from someone else to beat him.

I was going to say that, particularly as I stuck money on him at the start of the year to win the SPOTY, but in all seriousness Wiggo surely has it well and truly in the bag. Tour de France and Olympic gold? Nobody can possibly top that can they?
