Just seen this on the Beeb news. Seems like Snoddy made a good decision. Colin now has half of the team up for sale to try and get the funds for a new striker! Shame to see a club being run into the ground like that
I am actually gutted for them, we've been there and its not nice and I would be absalutely f****d off if our club was run like that again !
Much as I despise Colin I do feel a pang of sympathy for him and a huge amount for the Leeds fans. Proper club being run into the ground. Can't say I am surprised though.
I find it difficult to feel sorry for them because, with only one or two exceptions, they are the most arrogant, disrespectful and violent fans in England. As much as I wanted Rodent out when he was here, I certainly never wished ill health upon the man, let alone death. I found out today that a work colleague has the big C and then I read this: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/161152-****ing-die-bates-your-****ing-horrible-****ing-**** Check out the angelic little girl in the guys avatar, that's her father who has started that thread. Poor kid
Blimey. That's a fairly strong and unpleasant reaction. I think in reality most of us accept that Shankly was wrong when saying that it was more important than life & death.
I have no desire to put the boot into Leeds, the people that run the club seem to be quite capable of doing that themselves. What a mess, what they needed was stability after their hard times, not this.
I think they are going to have a pretty rough season! losing their best players and struggling to stay in the Championship... Hard not to feel a pang of sympathy for them
I think Leeds are the only club I'd not care if went bust. Absolutely nasty horrible deluded fans, and not just a minority, quite a large percentage.
I wouldn't wish going bust on any set of fans. Ken Bates and people like him shouldn't be allowed to have any control of a football club. We are very lucky to be in the situation we are in and shouldn't gloat at anyone else's misfortune.
Just remember this if we have a poor start to the season and don't start calling for big name signings We are very lucky to have a club which is being proffesionally run and long may it continue whether that be in the PL or CCC don't care just want my club playing football
I must say I don't understand this dislike or even hatred of other clubs and their supporters. We have a pop at Ipswich and there have been the odd handbags at 40 paces over the years, but there is no hatred just a bit of rivalry. Lets face it, they are approaching 50 miles away from Norwich so its not a local derby at all. They are in another county! But it is only football. And I don't think we ought to be glad that Leeds are in the ****. Or Pompey. Or Rangers. Despite the many knobheads who purport to support them, there will be many more who are just like us.
This just isn't true. I can understand that other fans may think us leeds fans are arrogant but that is only because we do like to recap the past of better glories but most violent is just incorrect to say the least
http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/public...rrests-banning-orders/fbo-2010-11?view=Binary According to that, Leeds have the most Banning Orders of any English club and are only second to Manchester Utd in terms of arrests at football games. Hard to argue against those figures from 2010/2011 season.
