Happy Frisky Fridays boys n girls,

What a bloody horrible day yesterday, 2 steps forward, 30 steps back!!!!

What the hell will happen next? Should we have known better???

Warnock is not happy, should he walk???

    On this day in history

    2006
The FA disciplinary committee cleared Leeds skipper Paul Butler of breaking FA rule E3 - improper conduct and/or bringing the game into disrepute. The charge related to an incident that occurred at Deepdale during Leeds play-off semi-final success against Preston.A four-man committee at Sheffield United`s Bramall Lane stadium cleared Butler, who was sidelined for the game.

    2007
Leeds continue to be busy in the transfer market. David Prutton and Andy Hughes are the latest players to sign for Dennis Wise.Leeds boss Dennis Wise is still coming to terms with the 15-point penalty and the fact that 75% of League clubs voted for the deduction to stand. Wise speaking on the official website at the time said, 'Not only have they taken my arms and legs off, now they've cut my balls off as well.'It's just not funny at all. We'd like to know deep down the real reasons. If you look at the teams in our division I'm sure they probably wouldn't have voted for us.'Some will have done it for their own reasons and probably not the right reasons. Everyone wants to get a head start, so 23 teams in our league have got a very good head start on us.'

    2009
Leeds progress to the second round of the Carling Cup with a 1-0 win at Darlington. Enoch Showunmi scores the only goal of the game.

    2010
Goals from Jonny Howson, Luciano Becchio, Lloyd Sam and a Neil Kilkenny penalty see Leeds cruise past Lincoln City 4-0 in the first round of the Carling Cup at Elland Road.2011Chairman Ken Bates admits Leeds were interested in bringing Alan Smith back to Elland Road but they couldn`t not come close to matching the demands of his club Newcastle United. Speaking at the time, Bates said 'We were interested in Alan Smith. Alan Smith was prepared to consider coming to us. He was on £3 million a year and Newcastle wanted a £1 million a year contribution. As I have said before, £1 million plus government tax equals £1.15 million, we cannot afford it, it is as simple as that. The result is of course that Newcastle have a player they don`t particularly want.

Morning all - I haven't made any secret that I would welcome Diouf - Like Bucks said, needs must and we need some players with a little pace and flair. We are hated anyway so the away fans will love visiting a team with Warnock in charge and Diouf on the pitch, Brown as well there could be fireworks.

If we do, it better be on a pay as you play deal given his record with injuries. Have we now sunk that low though that we'd accept those two at the club. Seems we have

I would take Bellamy in a heart beat too. I actually think Bellamy on the right for us and Diouf on the left and we would have a chance of pushing for the play offs.

Kewell probably isn't good enough to get in even the Wall's first XI, nevermind ours. & as for Diouff, he should have had a life ban years ago.

    Morning all by the way.

Just got a great new teeshirt. Its one of those keep calm & carry on teeshirts, albeit with a slight twist - I won't keep calm & you can foxtrot oscar!!! (in slightly plainer English)

If he is on form, Diouf would still have something to offer, he is despised by all as a person for his antics but he has never done anything wrong yet in a Leeds shirt or worn one. Kewell has and he should know better, we were screwed over on transfer fee and then seeing him go abroad to play in Turkey. Add to that I agree with Boggers, I doubt very much he has anything left to give.
