I read somewhere that we'd posted a £12m take it or leave it offer, can't remember where but it was one of yesterdays rags.

    £20m!!! For Fletcher - if I was Ellis & Maggie I'd be saying "Moxey - you're having a laugh - go **** yourself - here's £12m which is all you'll get from us."

If we pay 20 million I will personally write to Short and mug him off and when he writes back saying about taking me to court I will defend myself by say it's ok for you to mug yourself of in public by paying 20 million for Fletcher, what's the difference.... We will not pay that..

It's not only in The Journal (not that I read a Mag paper) but is reported elsewhere. I think we should tell Wolves that the offer is withdrawn and leave them with an unhappy player.

Totally this. I want Fletcher but not at these prices.

Moxley can go **** himself and Fletcher has shown his hand now anyway. He will be one pissed off player if wolves over price him now.

Also, both our owner and the manager will fall in my eyes if they agree to this.

Would love Fletcher, and I think he'll do well here, but £12m would be my limit.

£20m is utterly laughable and I am 100% comfortable starting the season with Wickham, Campbell, Ji and Sess up front if the alternative is paying £20m for Steven Fletcher.

Are you sure Stu? There is hardly a goal amongst the first three of them and I think we were well and truly 'mugged' with Wickham. Sess, yes I'm happy with. Having said that I agree no way should we pay £20 million for Fletcher and if we did I would lose all confidence in both the chairman and the manager just can't see them paying that amount , myself.

I agree it's less than ideal as a PL strike force! all I meant was I'd rather go into the season like that than pay £20m for Fletcher. If that is Wolves' price (which I'm sure it isn't) then hopefully there's an alternative to those two options - like signing someone else instead!
