    He has a younger brother?

What'll be more confusing is if Sonny Bradley has kids, then they'll be going to school and telling people their Daddy is called Sonny. (you've also got to hope his middle name isn't James, because if your dad was called Sonny Jim)

Not so great news for me. If played out wide he is virtually anonymous and if played at the expense of a forward we score far too few goals. Everyone passes to Koren instead of shooting themselves so not only does he deprive us of anohter forward but the midfield dont weigh in with their fair share of goals either.
Koren is only a star because no one else scores. With him playing we are almost a one man team, If he doesnt score we seldom win. We have no plan B, our plan B under Nick was play someone else in the Koren role. He even tried Corry Evans there.
    Stupidity.
Get 2 recognised forwards on the pitch and get them to form an understanding.

Well I think the idea if you've been taking notice of any pre season friendlies is to get two recognised forwards on the pitch playing as strikers as well as having Koren on the pitch.

I've wanted 4-1-2-1-2 for ages. I was always wishing Barmby tried it but he never did. Or he did once... Can't remember.

But it makes more sense. Koren still gets his role, there's still a wing and a holding midfielder that protects the back four. This is what I would expect us to do this Season. Well... Hope to do.

I totally agree with chillo... everyone thinks without koren we're doomed but that's because we rely too much on him, He won us a few points with a solo goal but if he doesn't score we'rd ****ed because no one else has the confidence to take up his role and shoot.
I know some of you will find it hard to understand but I think Koren is a good player and we definitely should start him but we had no plan B with him playing.
On top of that most of his goals were outside the box and shots that dribbled into the bottom corners. We can play and rely on a player if he's Ronaldo and his goal/shot ratio is high but if Koren fails, we all fail and i don't think that's right.
When he didn't play last season, we seemed to play worse but I don't think it's because he is amazing but because our team was set up to depend on him too heavily. For him to pull the cat out of the bag.
I'd rather he had ten assists than ten goals as that is his real role. He should be here to help our strikers hit form. Instead he goes missing most cases and if we haven't scored then we pray that he does in the last 10 minutes.

4 - 3 - 1 - 2 is better. But would also like Steve Bruce to play 3 - 5 - 2 at some point this season. Maybe when Jack Hobbs is fit again.

You really do have this thing for Alex Bruce dont you ? :emoticon-0114-dull:

Yes that's true but it reminds me of the Rooney situation for england. We have to play Koren because of his status and the quality he can sometimes produce but he's inconsistent with his form and we depend too much on him to come up trumps and when he doesn't we are screwed because he takes up so much of our game plan.

    Hull City A.F.C.
We're pleased to announce that Robert Koren has just signed a two year extension to his contract with the Tigers, keeping the highly regarded midfielder at the KC Stadium until June 2014.
